I have Conquest Frontier Wars, it was a good game. The Fleet Commanders was a good idea, but there was no real tech tree, so there is no need for them. The Fleet commanders would add bonuses to certain types of ships and they only had 1 life. The commander would automatically board the strongest ship and escape in a shuttle when destroyed. But can die easily. You could only make 5 of them. The fleet ships did not have any bonuses just 1 or 2 abilities.</p
Look, a 6th CAP SHIP!!!!
That's the point, the AI can't do everything other than control everyship at once. Online play is the best.
the quote is for all races. The Vasari one sounds creepier. [e digicons][/e]
we can only wait and see.
I agree about the assault specialization, but it's the AI's fault on choice of targets. The offensive SB doesn't really need weapons, just a presence with another fleet which is why it has the phase stabilizer option to bring in a new fleet quickly. AIs have only so many options to choose from and doesn't really know how to change it's strategy other than running away to regroup.
Yep, this SB AI, as well as siege frigate AI and AI choices of caps have been frequently mentioned on the forums here as major AI weaknesses, and really exploits. Still no love from the devs though, ant Entrenchment's been out a while.
The anti-Sb ships fly within range anyways. You have to tell them to loop around and attack from long range. Put it this way, the AI fights from the Empire tree. The only ship that'
I have friends in the gaming industry (EA. Lucasarts). And it is big and fast. When a new game is designed, resources are moved from the previous game to the new one. Patching will continue until the new game is released, so I can see everything thrown into this game, but I believe that the budget got low since Entrenchment was patched beyond what was expected. Blair puts faith into us as players/testers of the game and will take our opinion into consideration when p
away or aware? I know the Starbase phase and gate phases work together, I think it's just the phasing to where you shot the cannon. I do think of it as an unfair advantage for the vasari which is probably why it hasn't been fixed yet. Something like this won't stop me from playing the game since cannons are normally the last thing someone builds anyways. test marauder to marauder and see if that works.
The pirate faction was added to Empire At War, they because an unfair faction which could easily beat the Empire and Rebel alliance. The downside, since you lack technology, you are the weakest link, "good bye". [e digicons][/e]
Not sure if this was mentioned, but I thought I'd bring it up. map: Triumvirate phase node generators: Antorak class Marauder lvl 7 w/ phase stabilizer researched. Other, Kostura Cannon I guess I normally win/lose a match before I build any cannons, but I did want to try to use the cannon's phase stabilizer option on the victim's planet. situation: While on the offense against the AI's home system I decided to save time and go for their homewo
I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 64bit and it's working just fine. [e digicons][/e] I wouldn't see any reason why it would not work on Windows 7.
This competes with X-Fire and Gamespy. I give this a go, but not all my friends will ad Sure you know that these people have the game, but X-Fire does the same thing. You know what game they are playing in X-Fire and can join up. This would need to be the new Lounge and start the multiplayer match directly from Ready to Play program. That will need to be the advantage of Ready to play over other programs.
Command & Conquer is running over a decade with 4 releases. Why can't Sins have 3?
"The final micro-expansion to the award-winning real-time strategy game! Plagued by the continuous war, the factions have become weak and begin to seek refuge in the amiable sub-factions of their enemies in an attempt to find some solace. The Vasari fear the worst, as they know all too well the end is soon near for their race if something radical isn't done within these fleeting moments. Members of the TEC notice a change in the
THIS IS THE LAST EXPANSION? "The final micro-expansion to the award-winning real-time strategy game!" - Impulse I thought there was a 3rd expansion??
Cool, I can't wait for the Beta. After learning from last time, I think Blair and the team will be able to switch between BETA and other versions. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:D[/e] [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons]\o/[/e]
it would seem that the map converter is not compatible with this update. Any recommended changes needed to the program to make it work? Or just wait for a newer release for older galaxy files?
instead of Robots, it would be clones. Like many RTSs (Starcraft and CONQUEST Frontier wars), you have your Terran, psychic, and alien race. The 4th race is always hard to place since they either mimic one of the 3 or becomes unbalanced. So instead of robots, a race of artificial life forms should be created. They will probably have crude ships, but are strong (kind of dimilar to the borg).
I see, I'm in the US on the East Coast. I'm normally on between 9pm and 10pm each night. I've been apart of Stardock since the first Galactic Civilizations game.

The font isn't large, it's the browser you're using. It comes out fine in Google Chrome. Firefox does have an issue with the oversizing though.
Great story, I didn't see a compiled link, so I went through and put them all the pages and put them in one file. Saints of a Solar Empire - A SoaSE Story
