I do draw a distinction between humorous writing and a joke. Generally there's a fairly clear line of demarcation; jokes have setup and punchline, while humorous writing is basically a story, told in amusing fashion. P.G. Wodehouse is a well-known master of humorous writing, for example.
I agree that jokes fall into a category of their own. Very few people originate jokes worth re-telling, and it's widely understood that unless you specifically claim credit for a joke, you are most likely just re-telling one you heard. Just about anything else, though, should be attributed.
(Not that I want to sound rude or anything.... You can probably guess that I'm quite skeptical myself.)
If the future changed and nullified the prediction, why didn't the psychic foresee the change and predict that instead? That's a completely incorrect use of the word debunk, by the way. To "debunk" means to "demonstrate scientifically that an outlandish claim is specious." What you have just done is to promote instead another completely untestable, unscientific excuse for continually getting things wrong.

Overruling something that the citizens voted on is no cause for alarm; citizens, surprisingly enough, often have a poor grasp on the constitutionality of certain items. Calling this particular law unconstitutional, though, is incorrect and unsupportable, and should be appealed.

Tex, unless you're doing something funky with that coffee, it shouldn't be zero calories. Might only be 3 or 4, though.
You need to cut back on the caffeine too, Tex... 5 cups of coffee and 2 sodas is a bit on the high side. And remember, if you eat a little too much some days, you can make up for it with some moderate exercise. (Or vigorous, if you prefer). Even a casual 1/2 hour stroll can burn up to 150 extra calories. And 15 minutes of sex should use up at least 100.
