OMG I was so scared after reading all the problems, but I started by unloading 4.6, then I Installed the 4.9eta, then I restarted, and everything works beautiful..I think maybe the fact that I unloaded 4.6 first might be why it went so smooth... I use Linspire on my laptop with a dual boot setup, Windows XP resides on the other partition...I use linspire to do alot of stuff. Now the problem is I can acsess, see and open folders documents, office files(excell,word,etc.etc) I( can do all this while in linspire..But if I try to access the linspire partition from XP it just wants to format it...Boo on Windows for not being compatible..Linspire is and it also runs much more stable in my opinion..It

Yes the security center also messed with my Norton System works..I had to disable the firewall in microsoft to get it to play nice with norton...
I just got off tech support for sp2..All of my proggys and OD worked fine.. However my wireless laptop card would not connect to the internet...I actually had to uninstall it and the microsoft wireless utillity then use the instal new hardware manually to get it to work.. Well I know what you guys are talking about, However I work on Data Collection PCs typically mounted on Forklifts and Industrial equipment. These PCs use a 85meg to 660 meg PCMCIA flash drive..Now to use these cards in a VMU(vehicle mounted unit) The PCMCIA card has to be "Mounted" now using a VirtualPc proggy you can not compress and mount these drives and make them bootable..I run Win2k on a 400meg to600meg card..Now to do this I have to use win95, any other OS will "fight" to not Compress and

I am curious to know who hard a dual boot is, I hae a hard drive with XP on it, but for work pourposes I need to be able to use windows 95..Why may you ask??? Well I have to use a feature called Drvspace on ata flash cards.. To do this you have to use 95 as it is the only OS that supports this.I have to "Mount the card to make it bootable in portable devices...Like your SanDisk card could be used to run your OS from a flash card....What I would like to do Is take an old 10gig drive and slave it.
