Game freezes at startup on a black screen... in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Deleting an account... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hey guys, I have two usernames registered with this account email: BuckFutted and PoNeH. I was wondering if there is any way that I can delete one of these names from it? I tried going to MY ACCOUNT but there isn't any options for deactivating an account. Thanks in advance.

I agree with Code Monkey 100%. Everything that is posted on the web site should be considered official. I mean, even some of the pictures in those mods are copyrighted and shouldn't be used. The staff should take about 2-3 minutes to test each mod out before publishing them. I mean, look at the Religion mod, that picture is ridiculous. It brings down the professional look of the game. Tandis, the only way to figure out which mod is the problem-causer is to install each one of them

Bug Fixed!!! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Well, I discovered that the bug is caused due to an addon I downloaded from the library. Now the problem is finding which one of the hundreds is giving the problem. I have decided to reinstall the game and only install FrogBoy's addons from now on. It's sad though, because I have found lots of interesting and creative ones. I wish there was a way of authenticating these addons before posting them online. That way it would be bug-free.

My game randomly crashes into the desktop after the new stand-alone patch. Everytime I press CTRL + N to generate a new galaxy, it crashes into the desktop as well. I have to save my game every 5 minutes in order to be able to go back in case it crashes, and it's really annoying me. Please help!

CTRL + N bug? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Ever since I installed the 1.02 stand-alone patch, everytime I press CTRL + N to reset the universe it closes GalCiv and brings me to the desktop. This never happened to me before. Is this happening to anybody else out there???

I previously purchases MOO3 and I then returned it the next day. Talk about a dissapointment. I was really bummed out for a while until I discovered Galactic Civilizations. I was like, well, it can't be any worse than MOO3. So I gave it a try and invested my $40. After the first time I played, I was hooked. The game was everything I wanted it to be and more. FROGBOY please look into Cryogenically Preserved Precursor download... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Well, I've been trying to download this file still and I still get the File corrupted or incomplete message. I tried using WinZip, WinRAR, and WinAce and no success. I know for sure that it's not a problem in my computer because it opened all the other files fine. I believe it's just a mistake one of the developers made when zipping the file. I get a message saying that it's incomplete or corrupted and that I need the first volume of the file in order to open that one. HELP!!!

The Stand-Alone 1.02 Patch... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Well, I was just wondering. I previously downloaded the patch from Stardock Central but now I see that on the news it says that the patch is still being tested for some more improvements. Does the new 1.02 patch differ from the one I downloaded on Stardock Central? Since it's only going to be available tomorrow, I figured it would have extra fixes. Help me out. Thanks!

Cryogenically Preserved Precursor still not opening... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Guys, I downloaded the Cryogenically Preserved Precursor upgrade and it won't open. I posted this before and they said it was a .rar file but it's not. I tried using WinAce as well and it won't open. It says it's corrupted. Could the developer look into it? Or am I the only one getting this problem, which I find weird cause I downloaded all the other ones fine.
