hey there guys. Thanks for the suggestions, but I was talking about just maximized windows, not full screen. I tried the whole changing to an IE shortcut. It works, but it's a pain, since links are created as .urls by default.

I think the thing is that, people other than Americans are sick about hear this CRAP, and just didn't respond, or look twice at the stupid poll. this is a Skinning site, not a political site. One of the better things about the computer is that we don't (if we don't want to) have to constantly be subjected to "War TV" >
hey there folks. Does anyone know how I would change it so that .url (internet shortcut) open in a maxed window? I never browse in anything but maxed windows, and I have a link menu that I threw into the ObjectBar theme that I use, only problem is that .urls open in a regular ie window by default. I'd like to change that. (I know I'm kinda neurotic, but hey that's what customization is all about.)
where can I find wa2mgr plugin? I'm looking for it on the winamp site, but can track it down?
1280 x 1024 on my Eview 17"
This is a great little app. I've missed Weatherdesk so much since I stopped using LiteSTEP. I'm very glad to have my forecast back on the desktop. We Definitely need a HoverWeather ! Section here at WinCustomize.
a lot faster to me too. Thanks!!
Is there a link to where I can go to register my gamecube?
Thanks Hippy, but I can only find information on where the bitmaps are in OE. Nothing on the magically resistant file from OE6. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I don't see it.
hey there folks. I'm trying to modify msoeres.dll (the .dll that contains that ugly blue splash screen for OE6, but Microsoft went and got tricky on me. Every time i try to delete, or modify that file, my computer replaces it with the original. Does anyone know how I can get around this?
I don't know if this is just my machine or not, but I tried installing WB 3.2 and it didn't play nice with ObjectBar (I Think) at all. Made my machine slow down to almost a standstill. (It took 3 minutes just to get the Task Manager to come up) I'm back to using 3.1 again, with no problems.
I used to be able to do this with a command line argument when I used Netscape. I was wondering if there is a way to open the Outlook Express new message dialog directly. I know it can be done via scripting, but I don't know any. Is there another, or easier way?
Thank you paxx. Thank you very much.
I've looked all over the community, and every link to ColorPad in existence has dried up. They either don't work, or send me to some medical forum page. Can someone give me directions, or send me a link, or something? Prove me wrong. Please!
I don't know if any of you ever went to the old litestep.net site, but there, the user could customize the colours themself. It would be cool if there were some sort of Scemebuilding part of the sight, so we could maybe make our own designs. Alexandie, you've done a great job, but I'd love to make this site match my home theme. Come on guys let us all in on the fun.
not tough for me. I like Win 2k, and haven't really heard about anything in XP that would convince me to switch. I'm quite happy here.
thanks Jafo. Maybe I'll throw it up in the Screenshot area.
I have tried searching for it. I've tried here, Deviantart, and a couple others. I cna't for the life of me remember where I got it from, and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Hello? Anyone?
Hey there folks. I downloaded a very sweet bit of work called "Design For Thoughts" a while back, but can't for the life of me remember the name of the artist (or where I got it from for that matter). I was thinking about uploading my current DesktopX theme, and I'd love to include the wallpaper, but need to ask permission for the artist. If anyone knows who the artist is, please tell me. His/Her work has graced my desktop for several months now. I just love it. Thanks in adva
