Welcome to the group Nick. To hang out here, you don't have to be crazy, but it helps!

Happy birthday Jafo, and many more to come!

That worked like a charm, thanks for the link!
I've used three different browsers tonight and...no ads! Woohoo. Thanks T-Man, you're not only good, you're quick too.
I tried resetting my cookies, burned the first batch, second reset didnt work either, using Kol's 5203 skin.
One extra note for the Admin's., I noticed in the screenshot it's the Opera browser. I have had the ads showw up using IE, Maxthon, and Firefox. But it is not every time I visit the site, and I always show as logged in.
I'm glad the ad server situation will be addressed. As far as the ads showing up from time to time, who would have thunk, a windows bassed system having a glich! Thanks Jafo and Pictoraus.
Jafo, it may be a bug since I'm logged in. Still I think it's out of character for WinCustomize to have adds that start a download automaticly without clicking on them. But thanks for the come-back any how.
I was already logged in. Like I said, if we need the ads to support the site, so be it. But not malicious practices like this.
The only dead people I want to see is Presidents on $'s
Tonight around 9:50 I visited the Wincustomize "newest" page. At the top was a banner ad for Cell phone "ringtones". As I slid my cursor across the ad (I did not left or right click) Windows download dialog asked what I wanted to do with this file, open or save to disk. Just to be sure I didn't accidentally click my mouse I tried it several more times, each time it instigated an immediate download. I understand the need for advertising revenue,
If you enjoy what you do, it doesn't seem like work! I repair and install residential heating and air conditioning. I enjoy fixing things, I get a great feeling of satisfaction when I've solved somone's problem and made their home more comfortable. I also get satisfaction knowing I've made their equipment as effecient as possible for the environments sake. Do I like going to work? Take a guess! (but time off aint bad either! <img src="http://image

Pic...They say the mind is the second thing to go, I forgot what the first is! Congrats!
Why not? My computer makes noises at me, so I make noises back, I just hope it doesn't understand some of th four-letter words!
I was able to get to the link you provided, there were no other guests at this time. I did sign your guestbook to serve as a point of reference. I hope your other guests show back up!
Well, after much searching, I have found the "Shellstyles" I was looking for. Aimzz, your'e right Danillooc has a couple of skins using the 'user panel" at the top. NeOS has a nice one, not to large as to take up a lot of screen space. Now like is good!
The trick is... if you can spell it correctly, your arnt, myself, I get everything bass-akwards.
I am looking for what skins have the user panel at the top rather that the side, or if is easily changed in SkinStudio. By the way, impressive desktop you've got there!
The only thing I've come up with is use "Enhanced view" which gives a larger thumbnail and squint! Thank goodnes for broadband. Oh well, at least I'm not squinting on the pron sites!
That was my experience too. Lets see, there is 3550 blinds, about 500 in the last year, thats still alot of downloading, hmmm even Google cant help!
Is there a way to find which skins have the "user panel" at the top of the explorer window? I've tried using the advance search function in the WindowBlinds galery.
Many good points are being made, for both sides of the subject. One of the great advantages of the web is that all of us that have ingaged in this exchange, being many miles apart, most not even knowing each other, have been sharing ideas and views. Wow, what a concept. The only point I'd like to clear myself on is my statement of how we used to do things. I wouldn't want to have to "set type", it's not easy. My point was the talent, and years
Being the parent of a 15 year old who's been brought up with computers in school before we got one at home, I get the feeling you may have missed one aspect of the information gathering. The teachers are quite open to getting your information from the internet, but reports and such have to be original from the student, credit given where the source information came from and proper credit to the original author. As with many things, micro film, ei
