I will keep track of this until 2014 and even afterwards. I would have loved to make a movie out of Sins myself, but I doubt I could do it justice like you could, IskatuMesk. I look forward to following this project in the coming years. Just don't give up, please, I already had to deal with the sudden and sad death of Dawn of Victory. I just discovered Black Sun Salvation from this thread, watched a bit of it, and will finish i

I was just playing Sins the other day and I noticed the Rankulas had these same markings all over it. And the Nanite Swarms actually do use the texture - it is just really, really tiny. So maybe this is just a style thing on the Rankulas and its swarms? Or maybe the ship and the swarms are the answer to what is chasing the Vasari. I hope for the latter.

This website is amazing. I simply love it. The thought that it will only get better makes me so happy that I had to give you some karma. Keep up the good work, slowreflex. And you have my thanks for your awesomeness.

Just out of curiosity... Is there any news on the next patch? Is there any estimate for its arrival? What factions will have their balance updated significantly (Yarlen has already said he is nerfing the VR hard)? Will there be new maps? Bug fixes? AI improvements? Will it break saves? Just feels like it has been a while without much of an update, so just a teeny tiny bit of news would brighten my day.

Oh my! Isn't this quite the find! Seriously GoaFan77, I thank for this. I am excited to see if anybody comes up with anything. I am incompetent so I wouldn't really be able to decode it very well. But didn't somebody (was it Yarlen?) that said something about there being a reason for green suns in Sins? But then Yarlen just said recently that even he doesn't know, so nevermind. This is cool.

My dad has been building a new computer and is using the Windows 8 OS, and I am proud to say that I told him about Start8 and ModernMix. He is already using Start8 and will probably get ModernMix soon. And I have a friend who just the other day was like "I like Windows 8, but it's too much like a tablet. I wish there was a Start button". And lo and behold, there is Stardock.

The Vasari have discovered the spice on Arrakis - and they will not have the secret taken to the TEC! Just was listening to the Dune movie soundtrack last nigh and then here is the Vasari on a desert planet. Coincidences are fun.

For me, what I love about Sins and really all strategy games I play is when they make me feel like I am struggling against an enemy that could beat me, but through some crazy plan I end up defeating them and winning the game. I also like trying to role-play my games and I make up little voices for my titan and capital ship commanders as well as for whole fleets when I feel like it. And for some reason I imagine some unseen general in their midst, yelling orders, like "R

I love the Coronata, though I am partial to the Vorastra. I like the name of the Kultorask. It makes me think of a big, thick-shelled beetle.

Ryat basically said it. They don't make money. Actually, I think Stardock might have lost a bit. It saddens me, but I don't think that the collector's editions were a profitable venture for them in the slightest. Plus, they had to completely redo their system for selling the collector's editions just to get rid of them. When they did the redo, I think they had around 2,100 out of 2,600 collector's editions left to sell. Since then,
