Found an old evaluation copy of PSP7. You're right, there is no setting for png like there is in later versions. Sorry 'bout that. Here's the solution.... Save As... > Options.. (at the bottom of the Save As dialog) > Run Optomizer > Transparency tab > tick the Alpha channel transparency setting > OK. This setting should stick on all png's until you change it, but if it doesn't, just go to file > Export > PNG Optomizer to save your PNG's.

Done with RC! in RightClick WinCustomize Forums

Until the option to save my configuration is added to RC (not holding my breath), I'll do with out it. I'm tired of losing everything I've setup for no apparent reason. ratchin'-frackin'-packalomer!! :(

Been a long time since I've used version 7, but I'll try to steer you in the right direction. These instructions won't be exact, because I'm going by the settings in version 10. Go to File > Preferences > File Format Preferences > PNG > Load and save transparency to / from layer transparency > OK
