Program is working now.

Thanks LotekDeviant, I may check that out, but I just got it to work. I finally found the lame background hidden away in System32\oobe\info\backgrounds . There was only the one image in there. Changed the name to backgroundDefault.jpg.bak, and it's all good. [e digicons]B)[/e]
hey dude!
any HP related text or images on the default logon screen?...maybe an HP branding issue?
Nope...... other than my user name, the only text is Windows 7 Home Premium, on a blah blue background.
Thanks for the suggestions willistuder. I'm very familiar with Revo and CCleaner, but unfortunately that didn't help either. Yeah Paul....... definitely a 'doh! moment. Hey Snowy, how's it going? I can't believe no one else has an idea that might make this work....... come on guys/gals! There's only 3 programs left in Object Desktop that work with Win7 that I want/need, and 1 of those is a 'hot mess' on Win7, and the other doesn't
After several attempts to figure out why Logon Studio will not work on my new computer, Stardock Support has given up. But I would really like to use the program, so I'm here looking for help. Probably where I should have come in the first place. Doesn't matter what logon I select, when I hit Apply, the default logon screen remains. Disabling Anti-Virus doesn't help. Running sfc /scannow didn't help. stardock_access.bat, didn't help. Using odnt_zapper.exe, and reinstalling did
No alpha transparency for the menu background is one of the reasons I stopped using RC.
Zub, Pict...........glad to hear you made it through unharmed. That was not fun, but other than some major tree damage, a few shingles to replace (and the roof torn off a birdhouse [e digicons]8O[/e] ), we came out fine. But geez that was some wind. It split a forked pine tree, and one side of the tree fell into another tree. The wind kept at it, and now, the two of them are resting on a larger tree. dOH! What a mess. We're good, no one hurt. There
We've lost power 3 times so far. Didn't really expect it to come back on, since we were warned that there would be no work done on the power lines until the storm is gone. But the storm isn't here yet. I'm about an hour east of Pictoratus, so it should hit, and there in about the same time frame.
Don't crush that dwarf...... hand me the pliers! I can't take credit for the phrase, it's a Firesign Theater album title. But if you need to get your kids, or grandkids attention, try it. [e digicons][/e]
And Koasati...... WHAT? I dont know what PSPX means or what it is?
oops, sorry! PSPX is Paint Shop Pro X.
Can't help with the Gimp, but I can give the thread a bump. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] Doesn't matter if you're saving as png, if it's jaggie before you save it. If I was doing something like that, I would create it using the vector tools in PSPX......don't know if that's any help to you.
Looks like tornado country is going to get a hurricane! [e digicons]o_O[/e] I think we're ready. Shelves stocked, hatches battened, generator ready. [e digicons][/e] Be safe Zub.............. [e digicons][/e]
[e digicons]o_O[/e] What demented hell is this?? [e digicons]8O[/e] I can't do it! Not with this trackball anyway.. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] Hey Bryan! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:wulf:[/e]
Great idea! I'd love to tag this wall if there's any space left. ;)
I'm pretty anal about leaving traces of it in my registry and file system.
Then you'll love this program Revo Uninstaller :HOT:
A script is a tool . . like a brush.
If that brush moves on it's own.
And what if the script isn't used to generate a wall but is used to create an action
You don't think creating a wall is an 'action'?
Changed my mind a couple of times......... that's about it. ;)
And each time you change your Windowblinds you HAVE to change your dock backgrounds
I do? Nope, not really. ;)
Right click on the dock > view > lock icon dragging, make sure it's not checked. Thank you, but I've tried that. No locking checked,
Have you tried toggling it on and back off?
Under Tools I can Check for application Updates, View Application Updates.... Check for Skin updates... which is disabled View Wincustomize Site Updates ....which is disabled Edit Stardock.net Account Register Products.... Lookup Serial Number.... Download Manager.. Settings.... Nothing XML related
Tools > Settings > Internet > "Refresh Application XML Data" :HOT:
That post above is total crap, and you know it.
hehe :p
Justin case !
Who is Justin Case? :p
I don't use autohide, and I seldom maximize windows (I don't like the way maxed windows look with the sides, and bottom chopped off.... ick, ugly). I use the reserve screen edge setting for the rare occasion when I do max a window.
:SURPRISED: ;p
