I purchased Deskscapes not too long ago. My wife told me I could upgrade to the Object Desktop as part of my Fathers day gift. I just finished paying for the upgrade and received the confirmation email and when I clicked on the download button, Nothing happens. The Address bar at the top starts to load but then NOTHING!!!! Did I just waste $40 bux on the upgrade or do I need to wait an hour or 2 more for Stardock to confirm my purchase? EVEN THOUGH they already sent me an email telling me Tha

[quote who="CarGuy1" reply="6" id="2935210"]Ya, most AVI's I use are 10 or so gigs but I can work with them fine. Try going straight to MPEG2 then. It should be an output choice for you in After Effects CS5, it is in mine. It will output to a .mv2 extention, just rename the extention to .mpg Reduced 75%Original 800 x 586 Have you tried SUPER © Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer? It's a free encoder. I am trying just about everything. I am trying not to give up just yet......
Thank you two for you reply. But I spent over 1000 bux on my computer, and over 1000 bux on After effercts, I can no longer shell out money for programs like TMPEGEnc4.0. I get my enjoyment from sharing. I dont make a penny of what I do. I also make vwallpapers for iPhones and iPads. All 100 % free. I even refuse donations. It drives me MAD to get rejected! I will send either or both of you a copy of my latest dream to see if you can seamlessly loop it, then tell me how I can do it with the p
I tried the AVI encoding on my last dream. It came out to over 9GB. Anytime I tried to do anything with it, it froze my computer for nearly 15 minutes. For a while I thought killed my computer. It wouldnt do crap!!!!!!. I just had yet ANOTHER Dream rejected because it has a slight twitch. I know I cant compete with the top 5 dream makers but I am positive I can give Number 6 through 100000 a run for their money if I could only get the loop right. I am seriously pulling my hair out on th
I have AE CS5. I have found that WMV is the best quality to render out. I have tried AVI but it is ALWAYS jerky and very bad quality. After the video renders to a WMV, It has a flash at the end. Like I said in the top post, the video LOOPS perfectly before its rendered out. Its almost like the last frame or two is blank after render. This also happens no matter what I render it out to. (AVI, MPG, WMV, etc) I use Any Video Converter to convert the WMV to MPG. But th
I have pulled out every last hair on my head. For the past couple months I have been trying to create new Dreams so I can share here, but no mater what I do, I can NOT get it to seamlessly loop. I 1000000% understand that you have to NOT have the First and last frame Match. I have watched all the tutorials of how you must have the last frame 1 frame off from what the first frame is. When I do the render preview in After Effects, It loops perfectly. The most professional person could not detec
I understand. Again, I am not trying to be a pain. I am just trying to get it right. Thank you for your patience with me.
as far as the permissions- #8 reads as follows: 8. The Contents are royalty free and may be published, broadcasted and distributed through broadcast channels in completed works. So when I reupload the dream, all I need to do is put the dream and the license agreement.txt in a folder and upload as a zip file? Then in the dream description, state that this is an original render of mine?
In case my opening statement was read wrong, The "main idea" of the story was not knowing who to talk to or send the files to in order to prove I have all rights to upload and share the dreams I created. I hope it wasn't taken as me griping at the mods. I fully understand the need to keep copyrighted material off the site. Though at the same time, it is so deflating to put all that time and effort just to get rejected when I fully believe it meets all submission guidelines. &nbs
"Desert Storm" is the second Dream Rejected by the mods for "Copyrighted video that needs to be less than 15 seconds". In both cases, the Mod was wrong. ("ChamAlien" was the other Dream rejected because The Mod falsely accused me of using copyrighted video.) In the "Desert Storm" dream, The only video I used is from Royalty Free video from the "video copilot action essentials" pack that cost $100 bux and gives me every right to use in any project I want and
Thanks for the fast reply guys.
I have a little over a week until my deskscapes demo expires. I Plan on purchasing the full version after it does expire but I am not sure about the "perks" that come with it. What I mean is If I purchase deskscapes, will I be able to download packages from this site again? I have reached my download limit over a year ago. I had got the demo last year, and just before it expired, my computer crashed. (nothing to do with deskscapes). So recently I have decided to give Wincustomize another look
I think I figured out how to get the video preview to work. I just updated my Snake dream so that it runs 300% slower. When updating the dream, I uploaded the video preview first. The submit button still froze on "Please wait". Then I uploaded the new screen shot, then the modified dream. It then allowed me to submit. But I got a HUGE error page. So then I could not get back to my snake Dream. Every time I tried, I just got the Error page. After a few minutes, I tried again to s
ok, I have done just as you said. My preview file was under 10 seconds, it was .swf file, and it was 1.2 mb. After selecting it and it uploads, the "Submit" button continues to say, "Please wait". I tried with 2 different browsers but it does the same thing. I even gave it a few minutes incase it needed to process or whatever. Any ideas?
Nice. I will give it a try. Thanx for the fast reply. Also, Can I update a Dream and add the preview video? Or will it need to go through Moderation again? Also, when updating, do I need to reupload everything or only things being changed?
First, I tried the search, but it doesnt work. Then I skimmed through the whole Animated wallpapers section and couldnt find anything on this. I would like to now how to add a video preview to my Dreams. I know where to upload it and that it has to be .swf, but ... 1) what size do I upload it as? 2) how do I convert to .SWF with After Effects? I tried uploading a .SWF preview file for my first
I have windows media player. It still wont let me watch the video. [e digicons]:S[/e]

https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/3407/ As you can see, It has been accepted. How come its not in the public gallery? Do I have to be a subscriber? Kinda seems dumb that I have to Pay in order to share Free dreams. I am/was planning on buying object desktop in 2 weeks. Will this qualify me as a subscriber? Would I than be aloud to be apart of the commu
I resubmitted it 5 times because, I messed up when uploading it once and the moderator had a few issues with the Quality. Finally got it good enough for approval. Yes I got the Email saying it was approved. Is there another review it must go through in order to be in the public Gallery? Sorry if I am asking questions that have already been answered. I read through quite a bit of the forum before I posted. I am new and trying to learn. Hopefully you guys will be patient wit
I remade a dream and after resubmitting it 5 times, it was finally approved. Now I would like to delete the earlier dream and leave the newly remade one. how can I do this? I know now that I should have done an UPDATE but did not realize that before. Also, do I have to be part of an elite club in order to have my Dream in the public gallery?
