Try adding an exception to your antivirus for Fences to see if that's the problem.

ObjectDock v1.9 and v2.0 use the same settings folder: XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Local\Stardock\ObjectDock Vista/7: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDock Therefore, any changes that you make in one version of ObjectDock will affect the other.
