In Options under Video, turn the Font Smoothing OFF. It made a huge difference to me, as I had it ON during beta where it performed better, but now it looks better with it off.

This is the 4th ever game I have preordered. The other three were: Master of Magic, Warcraft, and Master of Orion 3. So I am 2 for 3. I played PCGamer diskette demos of MoM and Warcraft, and got my wife hooked on them also, so got to preorder them. Wish I had played a demo of MoO3, might not have wasted that money. All in all, I really like what Stardock is doing here, and hope to be able to contribute a bit more, as this is one game I truly want to see succeed beyond all expe

Thanks for the survey, I took it before looking down, and my responses were mostly where the majority was, so that leads me to believe I either have half an idea of what I am talking about, or that I can link into the mob mentality well. Would 'Next Beta' be the one planned for 18 February? Or is it BETA 2 with an as yet unannounced date? I ask because my wife preordered this for my birthday present and I would love to get started on it, and beta testing would be a great way to help assure that my next most favorite game ever is as good as it can be. Coincidentally, by birthday is 19 Feb, so the timing would be awesome if I get in on this round! Thanks!
