It also doesn't work in DesktopX, and the addons IN DesktopX such as performance meters doesn't work and the Start menu button stays in view when you select to hide the taskbar. Hopefully this will be remedied when the new version is released.

Just an observation but, having had Vista since the release, I only used the Vista sidebar once. It makes more sense to me, that anyone using DesktopX , would be better to just create a sidebar as an object. By doing this, your preferences are endless. <P class=MsoNormal style="MARG
This goes to show how hard work and dedication brings rewards. Well done to everyone promoted.
Have a good one Mike
I never use widgets. None of them ever match my skins and I haven't a clue how to make one. Ditto
Nice one - easy when you know how.
Bet you can't create a text link to 'My Computer' Not as easy as you would think - I've tried.
Congratulations Quentin - your work is excellent.
Hi Dave, I might be the second most downloaded DX author on Wincustomize, but I ALWAYS have trouble making themes Resolution independant. I'm pretty sure there is no way unless the theme is a simple one. With all the widescreen resolutions about now especially.
If you need any more assistance - please feel free to email me, I'd be happy to help. Also, there is a tutorial here: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/docs/

Nice to see the new site up and running - looks great.
Just jump right in! Exactly correct - it's the only way. Very good interview and well deserved

Well deserved - congratulations
Happy 21st Paul - have a good one
I know what you mean - there isn't any way to do this. I have made this point before. Creating a shortcut doesn't seem to work. There used to be a 'My Computer' but now there is just 'My Documents' duplicated. This is a DesktopX fault.
Brilliant work - I use Eminence all the time
For number 3 - just open the builder config. and under 'preferences' tick 'run automatically when windows starts'.
Email the author of the theme.
The new forums are a great improvement. The only fault I have found, if you can call it a fault, is that it's not resolution independant. At 1280x1024, there is a wide gap either side of the main text.
BitDefender for me..
What resolution are you at? 1280x1024 and I see your point. If I change to 1024x768, it's OK.
Love it but what about the blank areas either side? Are more items to be added?
