I did and scannow turned up nothing. I think it m,ay be Nexus Ultimate because if I shut it down alt-tab works again and turn it back on and it fails. Jorge says it does not capture this keystrokes.
Some months ago I noticed alt-tab was not always working properly. It often only lets me select from a couple of the apps, as if it's unaware there are others running. I assume something else is interfering with it working but an internet search has not revealed anything useful. After a reboot it will work for some time before the bad behavior reappears. WB blurs the desktop while applying a new blind but is no longer restoring the desktop to clarity, at least while also having an an animated desktop. The workaround is to place a static image as the background (changing the dream does not unblur the background) and then applying a dream background. I agree. Something is changing the setting in Windows that displays or doesn't display desktop icons before Fences kicks in. There doesn't seem to be a way to make Fences start up sooner so they don't display.

The purge worked until the fourth reboot and now the scattered icons appear again before Fences kicks in and makes them disappear. That's pretty much how it always happens. I can clean iyt up for a while but it returns. I did several reboots to see if the desktop would remain clean, but as I already said, after the fourth time, the mess was back.

What I mean is I see the scattered icons before they're put into Fences. I have the box unchecked for show icons at startup.

I used to have a solution for the ugly boot time icon view before Fences begins. I'd disable Fences, make sure Windows booted with icons not visible and then re-enabled Fences. Unfortunately, that only helps for a few reboots and then the ugly icons appear again. Is there a permanent solution?
The shortcut trick won't work on my Windows 10 PC.
I discovered another trick. If I roll up the Dream Task window and then unroll it the controls appear.
On a hunch, I unloaded Window Blinds and the controls immediately reappeared on an already open Dream Task configuration window. I reloaded WB, the controls remained, but when I closed DT and reopened it the controls were gone. This morning the controls are lost again. No way to applay a change or get into the other options.
I didn't run the purge but 10 minutes after another reboot DS asked for my activation code. Once I entered that everything started working again. I ran CClearner last night, I wonder if it somehow messed up the activation.
It was working yesterday but when I started the DreamTasks program today the controls for setting the background (to the right of the preview image) were missing. I rebooted, then uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version. Same problem and now it no longer recognizes dream files. When I select the folder containing all my dream files it says no suitable backgrounds exist. No updates of any kind ran last night. What happened????

The same info they can use to deposit into my account can also be used to withdraw from it. I called to complain and ask why they don't just credit my credit card and was told they could not.
I love the new interface. Much easier on my old eyes. Is there a way to alweays make the dream name visible so I don't need to hover over a dream? WindowBlinds has that option. On the other hand, I wish the WB interface looked more like DS now. The black background is no much easier for me to read.
