CTRL-SHIFT-V to disable cursorfx, disables cursorfx, but then there is no cursor at all. also, ctrl-alt-del there is no cursor either. running vista ultimate. for the record, this also happenend with cursorxp on vista, but since it was cursorXP i just waited until a vista version was avail. also, it's only the standard cursor that disappears, other curors from the standard vista cursor set are there, like if i hover over a hyperlink, then i get that cursor, or the text cursor

the switch between windows icon, next to show desktop icon, in the quick launch area. they are the 2 default icons on a vista install. so yes, the same as windows-tab. if u have cursorxp or cursorFx installed, when u do this, the cursor vanishes, so your then making selections blind

it 1 of the 2 default icons in the quick launch toolbar, next to show desktop where is brings up kind of like a 3d alt-tab i posted about this when vista first came out about cursorXP, and was told it would be fixed in the new version

when is it going to work with the Switch Between Windows function in vista? other than that, i know it's an early beta, and is looking very promising.

ok, see, i need my desktop skinned so bad, i won't use vista 64bit, even though it would increase my productivity at the office lol thats why i was asking if there was a list somewhere, and i'm not against using beta, i always install the betas. is there any way i can get a list, or how can i tell what has an available 64bit version?

well, everything listed there has really passed the dates specified, lots of beta's for summer 07, and nothing yet. but that still doesn't solve my problem i really want to goto vista 64bit, many stardock apps won't run on there, which is odd to me. windowsblinds i was told it would work with 64bit when version 6 was released, but still no 64bit support. is stardock taking cue's from sony? lol anyways, it would be nice to know this stuff, as 64bit is gaining ground, and most

ok, but....the stardock stuff is in different places, not 1 location. and since some things refuse to work if a group policy is in effect, well then they shouldn't do it. anyways, it's not 1 standard location, thats the biggest problem, second is if the folder is redirected, it also doesnt' always work. just give us the ability to specify where they go, since alot of us have so many, maybe we don't want them there. was much nicer when they were just inside the program files directory

skins for object desktop programs, are stored all over the place. in user documents, now some moved to public docs, i mean, this is really a mess. and there is no way to change where skins are stored, in SDC i can change where programs are installed to, and where program shortcuts are created, but not where skins are stored. this is also bothersome for people on a network with a GPO that forces folder redirection, as some applications like object dock plus do not work correctly then. <br/

is there a way to back up OD completely? so that i can just move everything to another pc, or put it back on a reformatted, with all icons, backgrounds, everything in place? what would the backup directories be? where is all the layout info stored?

well, i would have no problems with that either, but folder redirection with the documents folder, doesn't always work with the stardock applications, yes, they put the files in the right place, but for instance, i goto change an object dock plus background, and everything thats in the backgrounds folder in documents, which is redirected to a network drive, comes up blank in the dropdown, so i have like 50 blank slots where there should be backgrounds.

everytime there is an update, skin folders seem to move to other places. first, it started with object dock, to "documents/stardock/object dock/", which worked pretty well, except when using folder redirection, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't in my tests. then dreams were put there as well, cool, starting to get 1 folder where skins are kept. then windows blinds, icon packager, soundpacker, and thememanager to users/public/documents/stardock - which, actually works alot better i think f
