https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/301418/page/25/#2093110 The search function is broken so you'd have to look manually. It works for 1.02 Entrenchment, but the starbase effects are still regular projectiles.
Another thing; the size reported for Entrenchment is 305.90MB in the upper right corner of Impulse (where it shows 'Available Version' and 'Latest Update', whereas it reports the download size during downloading as 102.90MB. What gives?
The file downloaded is most likely compressed for faster download :X

I don't ever remember it being any different, but alliegence shows the same way as well. They're both seen from your perspective, if you will, instead of your allies. For example your ally's homeworld may be 8 jumps away and will show 25% max allegiance when it is obviously higher for your ally. Might be intended :X

It sounds like it would fit right in with the next micro-expansion to sins : 3 Though it would sound better if you could configure each AI player individually, I don't know how it would be implemented without making the menu a little cluttered. Maybe submenus could work.

In the Defense tree, research the item that looks like a pair of claws orsoemthing. It has a blue background and is not the one with the clock. I forget what it's called. It allows your Jarun Migrators (your colony ships) to build starbases for a hefty fee.
I dont get how I can run X3 Terran Conflict very smooth but Sins grinds to a hault its the most laggy game I've got something is wrong with their CPU programing maybe its a game engine that is just too demanding for any CPU. Most games get patches to fix the performance and memory leaks but I have not seen Stardock anounce a performance fixing patch yet.
&nbs

garv222 - I find that some capital ships' abilities do not work on starbases. Examples such as the Antorak Marauder's Phase Out Hull ability doesn't work on it ( T_T ), but the Jarassul Evacuator's Nano-Disassembler and the Skirnatra Carrier's Repair Cloud do.
8. since I installed Entrechment, I sometimes can't unpin some of my planets. sooner or later the list on the left of your screen gets too long anyway, so having some totally useless planets in it doesn't improve the usability.
You can turn off planet autopinning in options under user interface, I believe. EDIT: If anything in that planet's gravity well is pinned, the planet shows up in your empire tree whether you pinned it or not.

In the Entrenchment beta, the computers used to lay mines around each of their gravity wells until they had thousands of mines per gravity well, and it slowed peoples' games down to a crawl. In your case, even though there is a limit of 150 mines you can place per gravity well, they are still units that aren't present in the original game. So there's probably just more units that the CPU has to account for which is why your game might be slower.
Quoting Flakey101, reply 2Another race has can jump slightly inside the grav well research. I would expect that one to belongs to the Vasari with all their research on phase jumps that they have. I could be wrong though.
It's a Vasari 5th tech level research. I don't find that it helps too much though. :X I'd love a tighter turning radius/more maneuverability upgrade for Vasari, though : D</
