You could limit the # of games joined an hour. 5 games an hour limit could prevent someone from rage quiting simply because the first 10-15 min doesn't do him/her any favors. But that could end up punishing players who win quickly or win because someone rage quited on them. Then again rage quiting is something I belive we are all quilty of at one time or another. But with online communities (like this one) players who do crap out or have constant "connection" is

To bad you don't have a stat for "disconnects" To willfully choose to quit a game should count as a loss but it may be informative to see someone with (insert number) of disconnects.

Duelin' Firemen http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2007/04/duelin_fireman_all_you_ever_wa.php Read the article, the name is very misleading. You think you have to duel other firemen in a contest of badassness but no. You race to the scene of the fire only to duel each other by singing the goal of which is to earn a <span style="text-dec

I think if anyone is going to post in this thread they should be required to read your link in full. The author did a wonderfull job of breaking down the debate (even as far as the root of the word pirate) using research and having sources to back up every claim. Some things he wrote about (freeriders) I found quite interesting as I did not know even piracy itself suffers from the act of well piracy. Well writt
pay less, get more, the poor geting poorer, the rich getting richer, GOT IT NOW? and yes, it IS capitalism foult, as in fact THIS IS capitalism... (i.e owning capital)
There are many cases of people comming from the slums and turning themselves into millionares. The "fault" usualy comes from someone's actions (or inaction). A purely capitalistic society gives the tools for anyone to succeed.
dude i dont have to PROOVE you anything.... <br

Both socialism and capitalism actualy work if you follow either to the T. But since as a whole species humans are incappable of working toward one goal, we will only fail.
No. Some religions say that a god exists, some say several gods exist, some say that no god exists. Science has nothing to do with it. Science will work in any environment, whether there is a god or not, and whether one believes in gods or not. Insisting on the truth of atheism is just as unscientific as insisting on the truth of monotheism.
Again arguing that god(s) exist or not is moot.

Arguing god exists or not is a moot point. Religion says god does exist and science will ask for proof. Protocept00 , your post is very interesting but I do not belive that science = god. Take a look at what is happening with computers, Years ago processing and data storage was doubling at a rate
In a lot of cases it's being found that piracy increases exposure, and exposure means that people who wouldn't have bought the game otherwise get a pirated copy, try it, like it, and then go out and buy their own copy.
Could you name a couple please? I would like to know why someone would buy something they allready have. Hard copies of something is diffrent. Software is almost intangible. The argument saying that non-buyers inflate the sales isn
"All it takes is changing a few of the protocols and universal tracking becomes easier. Everyone gets a PIN to log in and your PIN gets tracked." Alarmist nonsense. To qoute a comment from the third link you provided; "The internet is not, had never been, and never can be anonymous." So many people believe the internet is truly anonymous. This is a complete fantasy.
Wasn't trying to be an alarmist, and

I liked it, it seemed to stay very true to the comics, with only small changes. My only complain't would be that the sex scene was a little gratitutious. Then again this was in a movie where a guy has his arms cut off, people get exploded, and you have to look at blue cosmic wang. Good movie tho, it makes you think and tells you a good story. Its like a thriller/action movie.
Because it is stupidly easy. Because you know you'll likely never be caught. IT'S FREE!
To be able to act without consequence is a very powerfull desire for alot if not everyone. If you could do something wrong and get away with it, would you? You probably would. Thats why the guys running pirate bay act like dicks, (read thier email section) when confronted by the publishers. They feel that they can get away with it since nobod
