The trickle of naming juiced MLB players has been judged illegal. Sad thing is, there is no one to defend. Memory leaks are not unique to GalCiv II.

From a BC standpoint, trade isn't worth it. In TA the diplomacy may be, I really don't know. Dystopic performed a trade test. Read this thread. https://forums.galciv2.com/159703/page/1/

Well indeed. The SCC with 10 heavily armed ships is enough to scare the bejesus out of the AI. A military starbase array (MSA) is not required for that purpose. For points, it is very useful. As for the math, the SCC is 10X and the MSA is additive, not multiplicative. What Kryo was saying is this https://forums.galciv2.com/174470// Mumble's reply #2 is the best example.

Moose, my man, nothing wrong with staying with DL. If the devs would have increased the AI speed capability in DA as opposed to nerf'n the player, it would be close to a perfect game. They didn't, probably couldn't. At the same time DA plays cleaner and even with the added planets takes about the same time to manage. I still hate the speed change but it's worth the money. Check it out.

[/quote] If you are reluctant on ethical grounds, ARC has been known and used for quite some time. SD was aware of it early on and chose not to close what may be seen as a exploitive loophole. If you are uncomfortable with changing gameXML, copy the original, save a copy as text, then test. It makes playing simpler....come over to the dark side.

LTjim......Racial bonuses and starting techs are more important than Homeword bonuses. There are ways to chose your HW and secondary. A good HW must have bonus tiles, the type depending on your strategy. The most important bonuses are resources and ethical alignment. Judging from your posts, you will soon have a Suicidal victory.
