Actually its Linux's tendency to be obscure on occasions that draws me to it. Its like one giant puzzle sometimes, and nothing beats the satisfaction of setting out to do somethings, struggling a bit(aka fiddling), then succeeding. If you can learn something with Linux, then apply it elsewhere, ie: windows, you've got it made. Lack of games doesn't bother me. Besides the occasional office Half-Life tourney, I'm not a really much of a gamer.

Attack of the evil scrollbar. in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Dammit, I'm working on my second skin. This time round I'm including (hopefully), all elements. But that damn horizontal scroll bar is messing me arround. I've tried looking at other .uis but everything seems to be ok. problem: It tiles the horizontal scroll thumb a couple times vertically. I can see no reason for this. I've posted a screen shot. I just downloaded a really nice DX theme and half-an hour later realized that I'd just been sitting there, moving my mouse here, there (ooh, look at that)... Nevermind trying to get any work done. How often does that happen to the rest of you guys?

BeOS rocks. I'd hardly compare it to a boat anchor, though. Sure, its not gonna be first choice for office use, but it kicks as a media station. Spend enough time with it and you'll start wondering how you put up with everything else. Just my 2cents again...

Back in Std-1 (3rd grade, I think), we had a 48k zx-spectrum in the class. I discovered that I was more intrested in that than with the other dude in the class. Man, that thing had a tape drive, way cool. So from then on it was a forgone conclusion, I guess.

In my mind, removing anonymous access, as useful as it sounds, would expose less people to Stardock's product range. So this would have to be managed carefully. I'm almost will to bet one of my least used appendages that most of us registered users already have subscriptions to OD, or at least one of their products. Just my 1/2 cent...

I personally think that would be cool. It would mean not having to navigate/get-lost-in winamp.com. Besides, after the recent goings on wrt ripping and such, I would much rather avoid winamp.com. You've got my vote.

I've been playing arround with this and the only element that doesn't draw is the dialog background. This is not a problem except for the fact that I don't seem to be able to determine which skin is currently applied. I've looked in the registry, and though there is a history, it starts a the skin before the current one. Any ideas?
