some skins take forever to apply, I haven't really found any rhyme ir reason to it yet but probably due to bad workmanship.. Some ports take over 90 seconds to apply sometimes for me. I thought it was just on my pc.....with Dual Core system too eh?

If you really just started to skin... My honest advice is to try out those simple to skin application like SysMetrix, Xion player, Rainlendar. Try out and see what your capabilities. WindowBlinds or VS skin could sometimes kill the interest since it really will take a lot of you to get it done properly. If you read thru these forums you could realise that a lot of ppls in here just did not get the energy to finished what they started. And never get discaurage by negative comments from t

..and finally to top it off... in my aggravation while in Vista..deleting away..I deleted my latest theme that I have beein toiling over for 2 solid weeks. That is the killer pain ...hope you have a backup "raw/work" folder somewhere safe?
