Are the text and planetary missions offered on the startup screen the same ones offered in the sp game?
Yes, however, at the startup screen you can't play all of them right away, you have to beat the first couple within the startup screen to unlock the rest. However, you can encounter all of them that you can't play yet in the startup screen, in the actual campaign game you play and all.. Personally, I'd rather just experience it in the campaign game, as playi

Hey can't answer all your questions, but I can answer at least the first two..
1. Could someone just confirm that the Cinemaware Marquee version is compatible with Stardock's version of the expansion? It sounds like you guys did, but I would rather be safe than sorry.
Yes, however, I would recommend visiting this thread for installation instructions if you are going to download the Expanision only: [link="http://tgnforums.stardock.com/315477"]WWW Link[/link]
Nah, the 800.000 credits are easy compared to the kills, since government missions will give about 120.000 credits in the endgame. Also, I have managed to make an improved fix for the search bug. The numbers in the results window are now going from 1 to 8 as they should. It is, all in all, a better fix. You can download it here:Download link
Ya I'm starting to notice that, granted not that much, but the planatery battles are starting to give me 50,000 rewards, and I'm gett
Remember that there are three types of unique ships, each with their own requirement. The military one requires you to kill 50 pirates instead of 500 dominators, and the pirate one requires you to kill 100 civilian ships.
Ya, knew that, honestly thats easy part whether its kill dominators, pirates, or civilians, the thing that will take the longest time is making 800,000 credits, highest I've peaked was like 70,000 I think, and I honestly cannot just spend any of it, as t
There was a crashing build up for some time, before I managed to fix the crash. Can you try redownloading it this link? That way I can be sure that it is not the broken exe.
Ahh that may have been it, redownloaded witht he link you just provided, and it works on the planets now the search and all.. Now just gotta keep on working on that requirement for the ships, 760,000 CRedits and 467 Dominators to go! lol.. (completed the 20 tasks already) .. Got a good chu
The filters for Selling Price, Purchase Price and Minimum Amount, were broken for Alcohol, minerals, Luxury goods, and Equipment. If you never used the filters for those goods, you would never notice.
Hmm, ok, tried it out, now get a crash to desktop no matter what option I choose in the search screen with the filters on for Max, Selling, and purchase Price... However, if I leave the option blank, then everything of course pops up. I would attach my save game, bu
Anyhow, this exe certainly fixed that error, as I can click on it without crashing. However, considering the HUGH requirements (800,000 Credits, Ace Rank, 500 Dominator Kills) I don't think anyone will be buying it anytime soon to see if it was truly fixed, but at least its clickable, excellent work!Yes, that is the problem with testing it. I myself have not reached the requirements either, so I haven't been able to test that part yet. But if no one has reached the requirements, it doesn'
I encountered this crash last night as well, was like gahh!, but I guess it was a sign considering it was almost approaching 6AM lol :) Anyhow, this exe certainly fixed that error, as I can click on it without crashing. However, considering the HUGH requirements (800,000 Credits, Ace Rank, 500 Dominator Kills) I don't think anyone will be buying it anytime soon to see if it was truly fixed, but at least its clickable, excellent work! :) MP
i uninstalled both games.i redownloaded sr2 and then reboot. i verified the install of sr2- said it was installed correctly. then i downloaded reboot and verified it and again it said it was installed correctly. i launched reboot and it said- this ap failed to start because d3dx9_31.dll was not found. reinstaling may fix the problem.- but the game launches anyway. still u can not select the box for planetary battles on the main start screen and in the game cant select the planetary missio
i tried that already. overwriting files will get the game to run but u cant play planetary battles this way. not from the main screen or in game. u cant click on planetary battles from main screen and in game when the mission comes up it will be greyed out so u cant select it!
Hmm, not sure whats going on there, I just played through the tutorial part as we speak, and I was able to do the training mission. As well, if you look at the quick launch screen, i see the Firs
I encountered the same problem as well, pretty lame, however, it does looks like I fixed it, here's what i did.. In impluse, you should see an update for the orginial space rangers 2, so make sure you download and update that.. Then once you've done that, download the SPace Rangers 2 Expansion, after it gets automatically installed, I think this is where the problem lies. It seems to put it in a completly seperate directory from the Original Space Rangers 2 folder. So basical
Hey, Just a little type, but ya may want to change the main title update from 2/3/08, to 3/3/08 so just in case people don't get confused, of course I doubt they will, but just letting you know. :) keep up the great work. MP

AWESOME!YOUR WORK IS LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!I'm glad you like it
<br/
Question, Since I noticed, in Version 1.0 you now have an English.str file, does this mean that your mod is not compatiable with the Planatery Bonuses anymore? (In otherwords, can't follow the instructions that Simsum posted on this thread) All in all , fantastic work, looking forward to more updates .. MP
Also, May wanna clean up the folder on the .zip file you uploaded (Or give a bit more instructions if that's easier). What i mean, is basically you have 2 Dirs, Window and Game Info, but you don't have a Main Dir for your mod, in otherwords, I'm assuming they both have to be in one folder in order for the mod to activate, or else you'll be activating only partial of the mod, just wanted to let you know :) MP
Sounds Awesome, can't wait to try this mod out.. One question though, or a request really, not sure if you've checked this other mod out, but its called: Uzii's Extra Planatery Bonuses https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=443&aid=178205 but that's a pretty cool mod, so I was wondering if maybe you and him can work something out to be able to include that mod into yours, since we can only activate one mod at a time. Now if there's a way we ca
Hey, If you have XP, cause I couldn't find the mod folder as well, till I relized the location it gave was a Hidden Folder directory, at least for me. So visit this location: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods Make sure you go to My Conputer, then Tools, Folder Options.. Go to the View Tab, and make that the view hidden files is checked. Once you've done that, you should be able
