[quote] When is it due?
Hello, Here is a review: http://www.gamedaily.com/games/sins-of-a-solar-empire/pc/game-reviews/review/5553/1948/ Interesting....
The problem is that the IA keeps asking us to attack factions we cannot reach in time! Even asks us constantly to attack our allies that's stupid (some ennemi asking to attack an ally!)
I could have enjoyed unbalanced factions! It's even normal after having read the story of TEC/Vasari/Advent. I think TEC must have been very overpowered by any vasari vessel and must have had big problems dealing with the advent which is not the case... My hopes relies on modding and ...Ironclad to get thing even more chalenging...
Exactly! The differences are minor, I want 3 totally different playing styles. I think this game version is just the beginning of something bigger in the future... I trust Stardock
I've compared the ships of the factions for one type you find nearly the same type in the other factions... Most of the ships are really specialized no faction is better in a domain (support, combat, colonuization, planet bombing) than the other... It's sad and disapointing... Differences are only in the design what is a point of making 3 factions?
I wonder if the stardock/ironclad team got some things (patch, extension...) ready to be lauched in the coming weeks? Can we expect like for galcivII lots of improvements in the future? New races? More maps? New ships for the existing races....
The first patch is out?
I agree battles look more like slideshows than videos no animations is frustrating (I like the total war series for the animations). But ships can fire while moving it's a start...
The games is slow on purpose I think. How do you manage a vast empire with a faster game? Actually is not that slow... I prefer it that way than in the civs or galcivs series because who like to wait for the other player to finish their turn? I think Soase is GCII in total real time and 3D it's a great improvement! Yesterday I was making war and not aware of one of my world being attacked! A faster game would have implied a lost a wold without my knowledge of that! <br
I can't understand why stardock/ironclad does not want to tell us the online release time! I know we're all are frantically going to try to get it the all monday! Why not spare us some waiting time? Why as a gift the one who have pre ordered it can't have it at midnight, there is no competition against the other retailer in this case...
Can't you be more specific about the online release date? (GMT)
