Bug: OB disables TV on ATI AIW in ObjectBar Stardock Forums

B 2.00.009 disables my ability to view television on my ATI AIW 9700. Basically I get sound but no video. Had a similar problem with earlier version of Natural Desktop, which I reported, and was fixed in current version. I am running the current versions of XP Pro and ATI drivers. Hmmm. Assuming the laptop is the secondary, and that the Multiplicity client is properly installed and sees your network.... Double-click on the Multiplicity icon in the tray. No MPVista on secondary machine. However, I did note that the secondary IP address was off one digit from the primary. Changed the secondary IP address on the primary MP setup, and everything is now working. Though I would have expected MP primary not to accept a wrong address.... I just updated to MP 1.04b. I have an XP Pro desktop as my primary, connecting to a Dell laptop w/ XP pro as my secondary connected by a wireless setup using a Linksys router and wireless access point. Hmm. Found four occurrences of preview.exe in the ZA program permissions, one from an old directory system which I deleted, and 3 from different locations in current SD/WC setups....though one of the three is an older version.

Thanks, Sir Bircher....did what you said, made the changes to ZA, but unfortunately the problem remains. WC Browser and SDCentral still give me empty popups with the heading: SkinName Preview. Strangely, if I log onto Wincustomize.com using Firefox, large previews are not a problem. Somehow I get the feeling that the WCBrowser and SDCentral are hooking and opening a file preview program that doesn't know what it is doing. Any other ideas?? TIA.</f

For the past month, whenever I try to preview a skin in the library, either via the wincustomize browser or SDCentral, all I get is an empty pop-up window. Is there a separate program that is used to do the previewing that I need to tell my pop-up blocker about? Or is something else going wrong. TIA Larry J

Is there any way to change the size of the display type in the Wincustomize Browser? I have a 1600x1200 dpi lcd monitor, and the default text for everything is really tiny. TIA

Great update! Thanks for fixing the persistant bug where ND and ATI All-In-Wonder TV would not play nice together. Since this is fixed, ND now has a regular spot on my desktop!!!

New ObjectBar Skins in ObjectBar Stardock Forums

First: ObjectBar is the Object Desktop product I use the most, on a daily basis. The current upgrade is great. That said, ..... Why aren't there more new ObjectBar skins pushing the envelope and demonstrating what this product can do? For example, a vertical bar version of Mike Bryant's Tronnix theme would be awesome! (hint!) Or, at least bringing the older ObjectBar skins up to current specs? Any thoughts or comments? </fo

Really WIERD! The discussion summaries indicate a new reply was posted 3h17m ago, number 4. When I try to read the messages, I only see three messages. Anybody know what is happening?? I haven't seen Objectbar mentioned in current Object Desktop announcements such as the 2005 CD, nor as part of the new Object Desktop launchpad, meanwhile waiting for fixes to the current beta. I hope it is still on the drawing board..... --Regards, Larry

Tiny Default Font Resolution in WinCustomize Site Issues JoeUser Forums

Is there any way to change the default font size for WinCustomize? I currently run a 20 inch lcd with 1200x1600 resolution, and all of the text looks like 6 pt. Could a setting under My Account/Preferences be added to fix this? Interestingly, the variable information on Wincustomize...me typing in this posting; reading other postings...comes out legibly. Love the program! However, some glitches: 1. Norton AV sees it as a malicious script when shutting down WindowsXP pro. 2. When rebooting XP Pro, ZoneAlarm pro requires me to reauthorize web access each time. 3. When rebooting, settings are not saved but default back to initial settings...zip somewhere in Michigan, and a Centigrade temperature scale, even though zip had been set to local setting and temperature to Fahrenheit. Don't know if this is the best place to post this, but here goes.... SB .96 Skins and Themes/ObjectBar/Sort by Date only sorts on month and day, not on year. Thus 12/2001 shows up below 5/2002. Request: Reverse Date Sort, with newest at top of list would be nice. Request: Navigating the skin lists using the up/down arrow does not update the associated picture. Not even Enter does it. Only a mouse click seems to update picture. Would be nice, if I navigate
