I use 2 programs that do not behave well with SVD. They are Amibroker and ZeroLineTrader, 2 trading software packages. If I open a dialog box for either of these (say to set parameters for a price chart or to alter trading strategies) and close the dialog and then move off to another desktop, when I return to their desktop, the dialogs are once again open. With Amibroker I can close the dialog normally (and the splash screen which also opens back up), however, with ZLT I can not close the dia
I guess I'll reply to this to get it back on top. I still haven't found a fix for this. A black shadow w/black text makes for an unreadable panel. Does anyone know the answer to why these shadows appeared and how to get rid of them.
I have exactly the same problem and have done just what you have, without results. Finally I just copied a shortcut to the desktop I wanted into the startup folder for all users. That is, at least, a workaround.

I get relatively frequent system hangs when using WB5 with those slick new per pixel skins (Dreamland, GT3, Copperdeck 2, etc.). If I switch back to an older skin (Tronnix?) everything seems to work great. Here are two examples. 1) With dreamland loaded, if I start PerfectDisk 8, the splash screen comes up and then switches to the main program window. They come back with any label I add and I don't want to depend on my memory for icon recognition alone.
Where in the world did that shadow on all my label text come from? I created a .png container and dragged a shortcut to it and the label has a shadow, making it very difficult to read, not to mention ugly. I have tried the relations and states, changing WB skins, altering the label text and colors on the builder desktop tab, even sticking my right finger in my nose and passing gas while keeping my eyes crossed, all to no avail.
