There is nothing wrong with that, usually games are much more interesting when the enemy has more planets, ships, ect.

My only gripe about GalCiv2 is that is has a rather long loading time, I have never understood why a game with much better graphics and many more objects like, Oblivion, takes much less time to load than this game. Other than that this is likely my favorite strategy game of all time (although that might change when I pick up Empire at War).

Well not entirely a related game, but if you havn't check out Star Wars: Empire at War. An incredible game and it's a strategy game that takes place across the galaxy.

One thing I do is build a medium size hull and load it with nothing but engines and sensors....voila...instant sensor platform. (dont forget some lifesupport so they have SOME range!!) Medium?! Why not a cargo hull, much cheaper, and more room.

This thread is usless, there hasn't been a carrier, mp, or tactical combat thread in a while. Also though I think that this game DESPRATLEY needs at least tactical combat, I used to love this game, unfortunatly its gameplay is boring as a lecture.

How many types have we seen in Halo? Well there are battleships, fighters, and transports for both sides, oh and they also got high charity (covnent base) and the earth defense space stations. Why wouldn't a Halo mod work? It's just adding new ships. If a Halo mod wouldn't work than why would a starwars or Babylon 5 mod work? Halo's almost the same, just not geeky.

LOL, I love how every newbie has not the slightest clue as to what jewelry is. Jewelry are the parts that you use to make you own ships in the shipyard where you design your ships, they are the parts that have the descreption "use these to customize your ships, these use no space" (or something like that). And no you don't have to look for them they are all in the shipyard under the "extras" tab.
