I have now 12 ships with over 140 attack power, and more than 100 ships in total. I still get the "relation up" message from Friendly to Close, but it never happens. And I want the Terrans. Not Yor. The bug is that I get the message going from Friendly to Close, but it doesn't show up in the foreign relations screen.

You could use something like in Rome: BI, were a defeated enemy would form a horde and go off to capture or colonize some place new. Maybe give them 3 Colony ships with 1 Bil people each and call it the (Whatever Race Navy Acronym) Survival, Horde, and Hope. Give em some fights for fodder, and a cruiser, and zoom!

There are levels for ships that survive constant combat. Once my ships get to level 3 I officially ditch the GSID (Generic Ship ID) and crescen some fanciful name.

'allo peoples. I have given ungodly sums of money, tech, and trade routes, as well as constructors and fighters for the an agression to push back the Yor (back! Back I say you vile machines!) and yet, no alliance. They got my back when I wanted the Altarians gone after I destroyed their 11 Ship fleet massing near my Deep Space North Station 2 sectors away from my Outer Worlds, we both have that lovely, lovely tech.... I gave a few 100BC and we were at friendly and then came the "better relat

Well. At least it wasn't linked to the War on Terror. As the supply crate in CoH says in 1337: EA Sucks. As for the cheating reason: Yah. There will always be cheating, you just need to monitor your end of it like a fuggin hawk.

I like the idea of there being whole races of space-capable creatures along the lines of Species 8472 bioships but are naturally occuring and growing. They can be peacful or violent, attack or defend trade, some may even become pets and become ships. Or I just want to blow the crap out of them. *BANG! ZAP! BOOM!*

First of all, a decentrelized confederacy or federation is easier to manage due to the fact that the systems/planets can make decisions for themselves without the need of the emperor's/capitol's aproval. #1 should only apply to Imperialcy. #2: When I played cake walk, destroyed like 5 fleets, the enemy surrendered, but on the highest difficulty, the AI will slug it out until you surround their homeworld, or take the best of their worlds. I once recieved a surrendered territory from the

You know what would work, admiral/commodore quarters. Basically, it would allow the ship to be paid for by itself in logistics, being that a high-ranking commander is on board, and increase logistics due to the fact that he can give orders so there's no wait from your military.
