[quote who="Jaiwera" reply="7" id="3628396"] Quoting duelking2000, reply 6 umm what? You lost me here. Couldn't you just take the per second fuel cost off of the per second profit from the tile? No mining rate needed then. That works after the building is constructed, but you don't see

Per second tells you the relative proportion of your income that's being lost to fuel. Per truck is only really useful for comparing the merits of advanced resources vs basic resources (which generally won't matter for distant buildings). Per truck would also need the the context of how many trucks will be flying at a time (also highly variable) to be useful. Meanwhile per second covers pretty much all those bases.

Is there a reason skirmish mode (while waiting for a multiplayer game) doesn't use multiplayer rules? It wasn't nearly as bad when you could scan the game while paused, because fuck the entire concept of luck based spawns, but now you're stuck with whatever shitty hand you're given with no way out. Anyone else like warring enemies economically? Like taking all thier cash by selling "generally useless" technologies to them for rediculous prices. Or selling "for even more cash" the most advanced buildings technologies "economic, farms, and research labs", but neglecting to give them factory techs so all the buildings take so long to build they can never grow a planet in reasonable time actually stunting thier growth. Getting Civ A to declare war on Civ B and then fighting a proxy war giving

I find the best thing to do to get a REALLY good start is to first purchase 2 factories on every new planet and build the rest with the factories. Then on the first 2 planets build farms, markets, and an entertainment center. Give each planet 1 entertainment to keep moral controllable, except the economy planet which usually requires 2 or 3. Also sell "useless" technologies for big bucks! I like to save up, and then convert almost everything to researc
