I uninstalled demigod over a month ago. I liked the game, I found the pantheon match making less then impressive. I was under the impression that the system was supposed to match players based on ladder rank. I was constantly being matched against players in the top 100, I was ranked 15000-20000. It wasn`t fun. I think this happened because the system was trying to get me into a match as fast as possible. I don`t know though??? What I`m asking is,

With the resent patch, I`ve played 2 games where Demigod froze my PC. I had to shut off the power supply to restart the machine. I had 2 disconnect`s added to my stats. Does that make me a Rage Quiter. I stick out every game. I`ve thought it was hopeless, Stuck with it and came back to win. How do you seperate Rage Quiting and Demigod Borking my PC? In my above post, When I said the fan was running full tilt. I meant at 100%. The temp range I mentioned only occurs while playing Demigod, Its not a common occurance. Why use rivatuner to adjust fan speed? I can adjust it through the device setteings tab in the nvidia control panel. If you`ve downloaded the nvidia system tool application as well though.

What kind of graphic`s card are you using? I have a 8800GT. When Demigod was first released it had the fan on my card running full tilt the whole time. I mentioned this in one of the developer threads. The recent patch`s seem to have improved this. I also tested a large Supcom battle and it didn`t have the card running anywhere near as hot. I`m not trying to ruin anyone`s fun. This is a publisher created thread to bring attention to #$%hole player`s. I think it would be best if we used this thread for intened purposes. A player created blacklist was posted on the SIN`s forum and locked quickly by the Mod`s. The demigod community may never get another one of these threads, I say use it wisely.

I agree with everything already posted. I`d like to add Doom 3. This game create`s atmosphere and tension like no other. I still think Half Life 2 is the best game of any genre ever made.
