I'm having the same problem as vista-guy ( Original post here ) and I'm using IP v5.00.021 and Win7 x64. I'm sorry for the double post but I thought I'd get more attention here. Like vista-guy said, the live folders appear correctly in the IP preview screen but not in explorer. Please look at the following pictures (Flash Live IconPackage): Preview in IP: <img src="http://img40.imageshack.u

I was looking around under the Advanced Settings tab of the WB settings screen and found a few checkboxes that I'm curious about: I want skins to be able to apply textures to the back of explorer windows I want to use Aero window frames but keep the rest of the skin I would like WindowBlinds to use Vista UI guidelines when skinning menus I want to force the start button to be possitioned in the middle of all skins Allow skins to u

WPF applications won't become mainstream anytime soon but I'm wondering whether WindowBlinds will be able to skin them when that time comes. I know WPF is designed for custom skinning but I wonder if WB will be able to skin WPF apps that use the default Windows theme. Of course, my question might sound stupid at this time but I'm just curious.

Wow, I never knew this feature existed. Now I can use those Vista themes I like but whose start menus don't work well in Win7. Thanks a lot cordelia0507! Note: Am I correct in assuming the taskbar includes the start menu as well? Edit: lolz @ WebGizmos

You have to download both the setup file with the extension ".exe" and the data file with the extenstion ".impulse" and put them in the same folder before running the setup file. The names of the files as you see on impulsedriven.com are: = WindowBlinds 7 Installer (~8.6 MB) (Be sure to save each file using the filename recommended by your browser when downloading.)/--><

The signature file for Fences Pro is named FencesPro1.bin. Also, I think some programs such as Keyboard Launch Pad don't use sig.bin files so maybe that's why you're not seeing some of them.

Fourth. I messed up my Explorer by installing RightClick whose function on Win7 x64 is to crash the desktop and I spent an hour trying to find Stardock Virtual Desktops in the taskbar toolbars until I read a forum post that I had better chances finding a user-made dynamic dream on Wincustomize. The program also can't tell 7 from Vista since when I tried to install TweakVista, it merrily went and tried to download & install the darn thing until i gav

If you're using Vista or 7, you can find the other sig.bin files in C:\ProgramData\Stardock. I'm not sure about XP but you can try putting in %ALLUSERPROFILE%\Stardock in the run command. On a side note, can u use the backed up sig.bin files to activate the products offline after you a make a clean install of Windows? I thought they were unique to each system meaning they become unusable when you make a clean install. Or when you said Reload/Reimage, you meant

You can get a standalone WindowBlinds 7 installer by logging in with your account at http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com/ I'm not sure whether the installer installs Impulse or not but it let's you install without having Impulse on your computer in the first place.

Maybe you could try moving the skins from the skins folder to somewhere else and try adding them back 1 by 1. The skins folder (if you're using Vista or Seven) is here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds or you can type "%Public%\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds" without the quotes in the Run command.

Well I just bought OD yesterday and it appeared in my software list along with some other software that doesn't work (RightClick). Like the above poster said, I'd rather discontinued/incompatible software stay hidden or at least pop up a message box saying it's not compatible with my windows (Win7 x64). Now I spent a good hour trying to figure out why it didn't work till I finally came to the forums and did a search.

I've used WB7 on Windows 7 x64 for about a month and I ran into some small issues. They are not anything deal breaking but it'd be great if they can be fixed in the future. 1. Whenever I load a new skin, the cursor in the Search textbox of the start menu is positioned a bit higher than where it should be. Only when I click it, it goes to the normal position, i.e. to the middle of the textbox. <img src="http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/4

I upgraded to Object Desktop from WB7 yesterday and everything installed fine excpet SoundPackager. During installation, I got two error messages that's got to do with "regsvr32". After the installation, when I ran SP, it just crashed. Since I know a little programming, I know that "regsvr32" is used to register DLL's and OCX'es so I went into SP's installation directory and tried to find some problem DLL's or OCX'es. Apart from the .NET DLL's, I found the Dire

Thanks guys! I'm thinking of upgrading to Object Desktop when I get my next pay check. For now, I'll have to make do with only WB7. Thanks again for your help!

Ok so I bought WB7 yesterday and I'm wondering if I could use my serial for both my desktop and laptop computers. Do I need to buy a seperate license for my laptop?

Yeah I took a look at the skins and see what you mean. I feel your pain as a skinner :( And thanks for the new link! Don't worry cause your skins are great! Oh and like some said in the comments, I like the dots from Softer. Pretty neat!
