kam.....This may not be a event, The same thing happen to me 1 1/2 hours before my post now . This is more than likly a BUG.
No - there is an event in the game, with a splash screen - "Days of Blood" or something like that. Personally, I usually dislike random stuff in games like this, but when I hit this event last night, it really twisted the game I was playing into something new and very fun. Regardless
Then the cap came and killed the fun. Would it be possible to get the cap moved to XML?
I feel the same way. I'm not even playing at this point because this has sucked the fun out of the map modding I was doing. Seriously. Guess I'll check in as the patches keep coming. Really though, a change like this should be beta'd for awhile, not just thrown at us.
My answer to the question What would I like to see stickied? "Less". Please compile a list of links instead of linking all these individual mods. This is my biggest pet peeve with any forum: sticky bloat. I know it's been said before, but I figured I'd post more than just +1.
I can't get FE to use a modded CoreNameRuleset.xml. I had this working in Elemental, but no luck here. Any ideas?
I definitely prefer the LH version. The image is so much sharper and crisp; the colors pop out better and soften the "dark" feel that seems to pervade FE. Also love the new shading. As for FE, the game always looks washed out to me, like someone spilled water on a watercolor painting.
Sorry if my language is confusing. If you purchased WoM before the end of October 2010 then you get FE:LH for free. I'll update my response to be more specific. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks Kael. :) The banshee looks amazing by the way. Can't wait.
Who gets Legendary Heroes for free? If you pre-ordered War of Magic before release then you will be receiving Legendary Heroes for free. This is different from the people who received Fallen Enchantress for free (which was anyone who purchased War of Magic before the end of 2010). If you will be receiving Legendary Heroes for free you will receive an email from Stardock when the beta starts.
What happened to "<a href="ht
So... does this work with the map pack stamps? And with 1.20? Any updates planned?
Well I quite like this critique, while the mod might help him, its fantastic for the dev team to see so they either release some more forgiving maps, or atleast consider it. Thank you anyway for assisting him finding a map mod Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Completely agree with you Kongdej! Just wanted to give the OP an option while we wait for "official" map improvements.
One, this game is quite unforgiving, due to the scarcity of land that you can settle and the hostility of the wilderness. I haven't found a good way to get a good hang of things yet.
For a more enjoyable map, try this mod: https://forums.stardock.com/433981
The only time I have issues with frequent smaller updates is when: a. they break save games b. I'm forced to install them c. they need to all be applied individually if I come back to the game after some time. (Neverwinter Nights is a great example - you have to apply like a dozen patches to get the game up-to-date if you are doing a fresh install) As long as none of these are true, I have no problems with the updates. Edit: <a i
Downloading and installing Stardock Central solved this for me. I think I still had to download it twice, though, before it would work. Try again? Other than that, I think Brad actually (kinda sorta unofficially) recommended a download manager. Edit: yeah - https://forums.stardock.com/434672
From the manual: Influence - Influence is a crucial resource for dealing with other nations and creatures of the world. It can be used directly as a currency when trading with other nations, as well as altering the value of your goods in trades with others. In addition, when building camps to recruit wild creatures, such a dragons and ogres, you will need influence to get your construction underway. Influence can be gained through city improvements and resou

I set the zoom level on it pretty low so I can play cloth map most of the time, and only zoom in to the "regula
Should almost do a poll on this: Would you be willing to give up player designed units to have a greater visual variety in the races? Basically, the limitation is that each body type / skeleton requires its own set of clothing, armor, etc.
Oh yes please!!!
How about: 1. Remove the unit editor. 2. Develop interesting unique units for each faction.
As a single player game, I don't think the faction editor should get all that much attention in regards to balance. It should allow for users to create interesting factions within some sort of parameters, but if goofy stuff comes up oh well. Focus on the important bugs/balance.

Honestly, I'd rather pay $5 for a complete overhaul of the lousy random map generator. Oh - and losing those ugly seawalls in favor of passable beach terrain. Pre-done maps that I might play twice each? Meh.
“Expansion Packs” This will be the same case for the third entry in the Elemental world which won’t be out for a long time still (but will be free for people who got War of Magic before the end of October 2010). It’ll be its own game as well not requiring War of Magic and Fallen Enchantress but be available at a sharp discount to those who have the previous entries in the game world.
Limit it to higher difficulties if you have to, but I want to see it used on me, just as I can use it on enemies. Fun is getting a challenge, not winning by using mechanics the AI does not.
In my opinion, the AI should be built to play the game without bonuses and without regard to difficulty level, and then nerfed/pumped from there with resource penalties/bonuses to provide the level of challenge desired by the player.&nbs
ntino you obviously put a lot of time and thought into your opening post. Thanks for that. Unfortunately, I'm quickly coming to the same conclusions; the more I play the more it feels like Elemental with some more (and not necessarily meaningful) stuff. I guess there was only so much to be expected considering the foundation upon which this game was built.

This can be rectified through diet (for Type II Diabetes) or injection of insulin (for Type I Diabetes). This does not
