can't spell check here, but I think you get the idea. ben-ev-o-lence.

My god, I think he's choking!!! Quick, someone give him the heimlich manuver.
WOW! I thought I had nothing better to do, then several hours of work, but I think I will just go ahead and get back to work.
It appears according to the article that the current version of IconForge is 6. The 4.92 must be a somewhat older version as it appears to not have XP features. But I bet it is still one hell of an editor.
Your welcome werewolf. If one shows great benevoulence, does not one deserve to be titled Deity? Even if one is a hairy deity
Most definately. anyone who's UserID has less then 4 numbers deserves the status of deity automatically. I would like to nominate werewolf for deity as well.
werewolf, the userid is a good indication of length of membership, but not a precise indicator. I know by the number 829 that you have been here since about the begining, but based on the number 218859 how long have I been here? 1 year, 2? 6 months? Being a db kinda guy, I'm betting that that the member since info is stored somewhere. I know if it were my db it would be.
Quick count here shows me having 40+ I routinely winnow down the number on my machine. I like to change up the skin at least once a day or more. I will remove the ones that I haven't used for some time unless I know I will use it again. I am anal-rentive about the space used on my hard drive. I hate to see less the 1GB free. But as to the original question, can the WB folder get to full and affect performance? I think MikeB hit it on the head. The more you have the longer it ta
I am a recent upgrader from WB3 to ODN. I have zero regrets. Look at things like IconPackager, Window FX. These are simple to use programs, but things that once you try you want want to do with out. Now add up the price of all these programs. All together it's close to $60. BUT, you get all of them and more with an upgrade to ODN for $35 It's a definate bargin, and you will wonder why you ever used windows without them.
Your confusion is confusing me Prior to this post, it showed 2 replies, Ande's and yours. I make 3, maybe. But to myfatacack, Ande is correct. After hitting the Print Screen button, use your favorite graphics editor to create a new image, then paste the contents of the clipboard, which should b
I rarely use my cell, either while driving or sitting on my couch. I HATE PHONES! They are a huge intrusion into my life. But, if my cell rings while driving, I generally wait until I get to my destination to return the call.
Another oddball off-the-wall suggestion. On the Author Info page, along with the Author, Nick, UserID info, include a Member Since field. That way you can tell just how new a person is.
Appreciate your insight (inside knowledge)
You past your test, put apparently I failed mine.
I like your CAD analagy. I'm a CAD/GIS Administrator and I spend 80% of my day with AcadMap 2000i. I've been a CAD user for over 12 years. I remember the beginings of AutoCAD. It has definately grown in to much more then a 2d drafting package. All of the individual pieces, plugins, make it a complete package for design of everything from a single cog to an entire city.
biased or not... it is what it is, and it IS a great program
I wish I had said that. What would really help is exactly what you say, a way to differentiate between new users and floaters. I really think that 'Registered Guest' is a more polite term then I would apply to someone, so I say go with that. Then the next level up, 'Citizen'. And finally 'Deity'?
I just recently purchased the upgrade fom WB3 to OD and I am unbelievable happy with it. Not only do you get the WB upgrades, you get the full versions of things like Icon Packager, WindowFX and other things that aren't available for purchase seperately. Hate to sound like a broken record, BUT, get it, you won't be sorry. (This P.S.A. brought to you by a happy customer, not a Stardock empolyee.) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
10-4 I am somewhat familar with how developers work and ifthey say only works on one OS or another they generally mean it. Any idea/schedule for 2k support in WB4?
Sail on Sail on my little honey bee sail on I don't mind you sailin' but please, don't sail so long Sail on Sail on my little honey bee sail on you been all around the world makin honey but now you are coming back home to me.
I am running W2k @ work (XP @ home) and am wondering if anyone has 3.9 running on 2k? I haven't tried it yet because the CM says it's for XP only(at this time). Anyone?? Should I be the guinea pig?
Just wanted to update you on the status of the little problem I had. I have been in contact with the good folks at Stardock, and they have made things right. I went ahead and upgraded my WB3 to ODN. It's the best $35 I have ever spent. I now get to use all the other little stardock progs that I tried out and liked. If anyone else is on the fence about spending the money, do ahead and do it. You won't hate yourself in the morning for it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/imag

Oh yeah, XP... Are you asking about the My Computer, My Music, My Documents, Network Connections, etc. icons? Yeah you can't change those either... sucks don't it?
To the best of my knowledge the icons I assume you are refering to are the ones under the programs section of the menu. Windows doesn't provide you with a way to increase the size of those icons. However, you can trick your eye into seeing them larger by using some ridiculously low screen res like 800x600. But who wants to do that?
