I love the idea, and I think the software is nifty. However, I personally don't use my desktop for anything, simply because I almost never see it. If I'm at my computer, either I've got a window maximized and am working in it, or I'm into my start menu/quicklaunch and launching an app, which I'll run full screen.

There was an old story I heard about the days at Commadore (C64 / Amiga computer company) There was a single reserved parking spot for some over entitled and hated VP.
