I installed the beta on my laptop without any changes and it works. I set the same settings on my desktop and it still won't skin the titlebar. I don't use a theme background in Edge, it's default. I uninstalled and installed it again and still nothing.
Yes I am and up to date.
And I tried hardware acceleration on and off
Yes that switch is turned off. When I close Edge the processes stop in my task manager. I've never had the Edge icon in my system tray.
I just did this Neil, same thing. There were about 6 of them. Didn't work with the shortcut or the one pinned to the taskbar.
Edge still not applying skin to titlebar. Added -disable-features=Windows10CustomTitlebar to the Edge shortcut. Unless there's something in Edge settings that should be checked. I downloaded the Google shortcut and Google titlebar isn't skinned either. Oh yea the box in the WB settings is checked for these settings.
[quote who="mskreg" reply="8" id="3799758"] I'm using Curtains on Windows 10 Preview build 21313.rs_prerelease.210209-1440, which is in beta anyway. I don't expect things to always work perfectly. The last month of Windows builds, Curtains shows weird blue bubbles, extra lines, and the top bar continues beyond the window boundary as you can see in the screenshot. Reduced 83%
I just bought an ASUS laptop too. It's a ROG Zephyrus M15 15.6" Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i7-10750H, 16GB Memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 512GB SSD with a 144Hz screen and I installed a second 1TB M.2 ssd. My old laptop was still running Win8 and the screen started to get washed out.
I have basically the same set up as you. From what I'm seeing you're on board graphics is being recognized where as mine is not. I think that there is a conflict there. You can turn that off in the BIOs and leave your 1060 as the dedicated GPU.
If I have Edge open and change a theme it applies. If I close the Edge window and open it up again Win 10 theme titlebar is applied.

Please work on skinning Edge titlebar.
Tom I have done sfc /scannow on my laptop and desktop without problems. My desktop has an SSD and my laptop has a M.2.

It's been quite around here past couple months. I guess all the old timers need their naps. [e digicons][/e]
I have a 1660Ti in my laptop. It's a great low end card.
Something I've been messing with.
It's strange most of the wallpapers I've seen here are wallpapers that I've had for years or that I've see on other wallpaper sites. There should be some explanation on how this is possible.
I'm on 2004 search looks normal on 2 computers. Don't even know how to get it to full screen.
