Workaround the Object Bar Beta White Background problem in ObjectBar Stardock Forums

After doing some experimentation, I found that the problem seems to be occuring in bars that start with auto-hide on. If you turn auto-hide off, then go to the menu editor and go to the skin tab, by changing the skin to something else and back, you can get your skin back. After that, you can turn auto-hide on again, and things should be ok for a bit. I have found that after a bit, the white background problem will come back. But i haven't figured o

Roadmap for ObjectBar 2.0? in ObjectBar Stardock Forums

I was wondering if there was some sort of roadmap for object bar 2.0? I've submitted feedback on bugs and how I think it should look and feel, but what should I be looking for in testing the new features that you're adding? We've seen some pictures in the preview, but no real statement of where you want to go, and what we should be able to do with this next version. I think it would really help feedback if we knew more of what we are supposed to be

Quite right, my appologies. I am just frustrated as my object bar seems to have gotten worse since the last beta, the auto-hide is going slightly crazy (it will be fine, then stop activating until i hit the windows key), and the backgrounds have turned white (though sometimes the come back, then disappear again). Not to offend or anything, but have you seen the new beta? It seems no progress has been done since december, actually its worse since backgrounds are now all white, and the auto-hide bars don't want to seem to come back. Stick with 1.65 for now, this beta is NOT ready for use yet.

2 things 1) Allow us to set some default sort criteria for our searches. For instance, by default, I like to sort by rating. Currently this means if I click on the left to get to a section, I have to change the sort order and click Go again.
