Well waddya know - downloaded SD Central, unzipped etc, re-booted, and just for laughs tried CM again - it worked! Will persevere with SDCentral though - must be XP, mind of it's own! Thanks for help.

Just been informed that WB 3.90f is available, clicked Sys tray icon for Component manager - wait icon, then nothing! Tried running CM from OD, Start, Run etc. Tried re-installing, re-booting etc all to no avail. Any suggestions - or a workaround for updates?
