They don't get to vote either, it would be blatant taxation without representation. Cwarsh Good point. I like it. I don't agree though. It falls into the same reasoning that foreigner should have the same legal rights to courts, this is what the ACLU fighting for. But the constituti

I'm just afraid that when you raise a temporary tax that it don't stay that way. How many Gas taxes have been past because it was needed for this or that. Then the law makes deside later that now that the origainal thing is payed for, lets use the income for something else. For them it's win, win because truthfully they are not raising a new tax and the public just don't notice it most of the time. I think that why many people fear raising any taxe

Foreigners shouldnt have to pay an NST, so you would have to have special paperwork for sales to foreigners, and then that could be taken advantage of etc. Cwarish The rest of your post was good and I liked it, but why not have foreigners pay? They use our services too. The only exception is

I am all for a Constitutional amendment the does not allow the Federal Government to spend money it does not have. The Nevada Constitution has one and it has served this state well. ( Note: Except recently with some activist Judges.)

Pk The Surprising fact is that I'm an Independent. I don’t like the Republican Party anymore then I like the Dems. I would prefer that there were no parties at all and everybody would vote the way they want to. (not how the party tells them too). The comments given by the Dem. party like the ones you had given above, since the last election, has driven me more to respect the Republicans (and that Dem judges are trying also to change or ignor

I agree whole heartedly. I would be like spending one third of your income on credit card Debt and still buying Pizza every night. But I don't believe raising taxes is the way to go though, there is alot of fat that still can be cut from the federal budget. Accualy I do want to note that Social Security was higher then the interest. Also that the a full 25% of the defence budget really is used by the CIA/NSA/FBI/NASA. All the spysa

Ya, it's strange that Kerry wants to talk about 4 months that happened 35 years ago and never talks about the resent 19 years of his life in Congress.

Darn, I forgot one more thing. In the arguement that poeple who maybe friends of canadate can not donate to 527s. Michael Moore donated over one million dollars to Moveon.org (also lets not forget his movie) and he was given a seat in the presidental box almost next to Kerry. Mr. Soros was given by the DNC a free VIP box (While other had to pay) at the DNC convention.

And the report that Karl Rove and Bush Sr. in large part funded the ad was on CNN Headline News yesterday. The only thing in the report I found connecting Bush Sr. and Karl Rove was this: http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/20/kerry.swiftboat/index.htm

Reply #31 By: Citizen TruthOrFiction - 8/21/2004 2:50:34 PM Good reply but if you read the swifty book yourself and not took someone else's word to it. The arguments arising from it, is not Mr. Kerry's Silver Star. It was his Bronze Star event, x-mas in Cambodia, and atrocities that he committed in Vietnam. On the Bronze star: Mr. Rood was not a commander there at the time and the other four commanders that were there agree with

of course there's always the possibility kerry isnt connected to moveon.org The Chairman of Moveon.org is an ex-campaign manager of Kerry's. By that right the Swifties contributors look mild. None of the witnesses in the book has any contact with Bush.

So lets STOP ARGUING about events of more than 30 years ago and focus on issues that are relevant today Kerry was the one who brought 30 years ago up. During the DNC convention he only talked about his record thirty years ago and nothing about how he voted the last 19 years in the Senate. He was the o

First of all, someone being a veteran or not is not imporant. The SBV are the same people that bush used to screw mccain in 2000 and what the republicans used to do to max cleland. Its disgusting. SBV is not important and are stupid. Im glad mccain was against SBV, hes smart. Even though you see mccain supporing bush, its because

Dr. Louis Letson has lied about being the doctor who serviced Kerry and has provided false information by claiming that Kerry lied about his Purple heart. I have let this propaganda go for too long. Lestat420 let me add this. It's not against the law for someone to contridute to the SBV and the RNC or moveon.org and the DNC. If that was true then Mr. Soreos and Mr. Moore would be in jail by now because they have contributed 10 times as much to Moveon.org. As for the request for Bush to call the SBV to stop the adds, he has already ask for all third party adds to stop and has condemned them.

Old history; sure, immediately after the Civil War, but since then how do you explain the solid south being republican? Accualy thats 1950-1970. Democrats became far liberal: pro-choice, pro-same sex marriage, people rather than war, economy & jobs. Good post. But I think the Democrats did not become "people rather than war" until after LBJ.
