Consider South America and Africa for example. What examples? The only thing I remember about Democrats helping in South America is John Kerry's "X-mas in Cambodia seared into my memory" speech trying to stop us from helping. In South Africa we realy didn't do much there except go along with the UN.

I think Time Magazine and CNN pulled out those radical polls. I was choking on my cereal bar when I was watching the news just listening. We all know that Time Warner is very bias and was actually one of the biggest donors to the Bush Campaign in 2000. WOW, Time Magazine is a Conserviative rag? Even

Many of the people who left Cuba in the 60's, were rich. They were not killed, they were allowed to leave. Since many were in the upper class, that's why most Cubans in Miami are Republican. So all those Cuban boat refugees in the 70's and 80's were rich too?<img src="../images/smiles/notsure.gif" borde

Sorry Matt for beating a dead horse but Gideon is right about adds in NV. I'm not from the same area in the Nevada as he is, but I've seen twice as many negative ads here by the 527s against Bush. Kerry's own ads in my area has him attacking Bush as if Bush had commissioned the SBV ads himself and outright attacked Kerry's war record. At least Bush's ads go after things that can be proven. I have not seen one positive ad in my area from Kerr

Deaniac Have you ever thought that maybe the Republicans just wanted to show emigrants that you can be from another country and not a Democrat? That there is an option to the same old you must go there because you are this. But you think the only reason Arnold spoke at the convention is because Reps are screaming "Oooh, we can't win this election without our Actor". Get real guy, sometimes people are successful and that’s why they are aske

I recently ready a thread wondering why Republicans are resorting to actors to get politicians. Let’s first look at the mentality of the two types of celebrities. The Democratic leaning celebrities when ask to put their money where their mouth is are more willing to do so. Most will support a political point of view or their politician by giving money (or making money). Barbara Striesan, Michael Moore, Alex Baldwin, or Tim Robins are exampl

Oooh my god, think of all the law suits that would be started. I think that if both sides fill more then 50 law suits each then Nader should be voted in by default.

Two Navy officers told an interesting thing to me last week. The latest rumor running through the Navy is that the investigation, cited in the original post, is started for one reason. The Navy has asked Kerry five times for his authorization to release the AARs and other detailed reports about his four months in Vietnam. He has refused. The only documentation released by Kerry is his awards and a few other items. (This includes all of his medical

"America will win the war on terror" - Bush. *flip* "The war on terror cannot be won" - Bush. *flop* "American will win the war on terror" -Bush. *flip*......... While I admire Mr. Bush for actually exploring more than one option, in this instance he really should decide. Unlike Kerry when he flips and

Wow! I cannot fathom why the republicans are not trumpeting the 4 million net job figure over and over! Check it out yourself, I gave the website. But if you do listen to many of their speechs, they do say there is Job growth. Unfortunately many news programs don't play a full speech. The Rep. just d

Inigo This is what I got off my earlier post. The other about income I know was posted near my origanial post I may be able to find it before my lunch is over, but I've got it saved at home. U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics Employed in July 2004: 139.7 million Employed in Dec 2000 (last months of Clinton): 135.8 million Net increase of 3.9 million jobs Reference: http:/

The Bush record is that millions of jobs have been lost. The ones that have been replaced pay a lower wage on average (i.e. lose a manufacturing job, but created a job at Home Depot). Unfortunately I'm at work (and on brake) now so I can't get to the data. But the average income has increased 12.5% in

Sorry if I took it to hard, but I'm just saying that he may be an actor, but give him a chance. Ronald Reagan was an actor, but I think he did a good job. If you really think about it, most of the politicians on both sides are actors. And as I said he does have more experience then just an actor. I also should not have used Democratic Machine and should have just said Political Machine, but the Democrats have ruled the states houses there f

People are increasingly in favor of the gay cause Def I disagree and don't feel that is as true as you think. The US sitcoms and movie industry has become more open to the gay causes. But in doing so many more flamboyant gays feel they can do, as they want. But this has caused a backlash fro
