Keep in mind there is still a part of the population who cannot vote (mental asylum, prison, under 18, do not possess green card yet). Even in history not everybody took their rights so seriously alas it was only a dream that they did. Read some Philosophers of the time combined with History.

Where exactly in the material that is quoted does it tell people to lie? This just sounds like more of the same BS tactics that both sides use. If what you have quoted is the most damning thing in that guide then you don't have jack, except for what you are choosing to read into it.</TD

Pat Caddell (on H&C) came out and said it was wrong. He said if they needed an example they could have even used Gephardt's Daughter and that citing Cheney's daughter was premeditated along with being wrong.

Got to remember though the US is one country that does not like to be forced to do anything. Though if it got passed only time would tell if it was more effective or less effective in the US.

voting in all democracies should be compulsory for the participants. Uhm, no because than you get the problems they have in Australia and other places, completely uninformed voters being forced to vote. I would rather have informed voters voting than a whole bunch of uninformed voters voting,

Hear here, I agree 100% either put up (vote) or shut up (because the person did not vote). I think only people who actually voted should be able to gripe about who won or didn't win but than again you can't expect some people to quit complaining even if you tell them to shut up because they didn't vote. - Grim X

(Either by being killed or by being captured) How many people outside of Al Qaida are Terrorist groups or individuals who want to do harm to the US? Lee has posted the same thing as well under the title "Let Slip the Dogs of Law" and I agree this is a new low for any political party even Alan Colmes had a hard time defending it and agreed that Kerry should come out and denounce it by saying they will not use such underhanded tactics. - Grim X

Would it have been acceptable for Bush to answer the question by saying "Well you know John Edwards' daughter is a lesbian and they accept and love her." I don't think it would so acceptable with the DNC than. You don't involve your opponent's children in the political competition. - Grim X

Draginol don't forget the Chaos Theory when it comes to political elections. 2000 was an example, Gore thought it was in the bag but lost the Electoral. Sometimes things never goes as planed because most people forget to factor in the Chaos element. We will know on November 2nd (late night) or November 3rd what the outcome is. - Grim X
