I love you Mom! That was one of the first things that I noticed about you and Dad...you are still in love and you still love each other. Contrary to popular belief, there is a difference! The other thing that stood out was your unconditional love, for each other and for your kids. Life is better with somebody to love! It's also better when you have great in-laws that you love. Boy asked me the other day why I call you Mom, since you are HBW's mom, not mine. &nbs

Merry Christmas Dad. Alice and I were hoping that we can skip the white part of Christmas, at least while we are driving. I feel you on the whole staying home with family....that's how I would like to do it. But once again, this year, I am more focused on the events on January than of December. It seems like the holidays have raced in, leaving no time for reflection or rest. As much as I love my friends that include me in holiday festi

(Don't worry Matt, she is back in the garage....leaving the van out in the rain!) And here is a pic I did a while back....the boys working on the GTO. <img s

The military does voice an opinion....I saw this on another blog and had to grin. I wonder how long it will take for the mainstreet manic Obama-facination to wane. Notice who Obama pays attention to at the end of his speech....is it the average everyday working joe he claims to support? <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xIHz5tevLAw&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2

I agree with MasonM....if it is an adult only establishment...the government should stay out. Strip clubs, bars etc...are sleazy enough. If they ban cigarettes, why not liquor? The presence of minors is the difference. Bars, Stip clubs, private clubs, bingo....smoke away. Bowling, malls, resturaunts....those are a grey area. Parents can choose to protect the kids by avoiding those establishments, but it would be nice to have the optionfor clea

I see both sides. Personally, I hate having the government telling any establishment what they can or can not do. I frequent places that don't smell like smoke. I voice my opinion with my $$$$.The government should be careful where they tread. That being said, I am a hypocrite. I heartily support any regulation that forbids smoking on public transport...even those run by private (sort of) companies such as airlines. (they are only semi-private-they suck

I can understand how you felt walking into a room full of strangers....big scary people that you wouldn't want to mess with. For me it was walking in to meet my in-laws. The ONLY picture that HW had was a grainy underexposed print that made the entire faimly looke like Charles Manson-esqe serial killers. When I showed up...J. was big and scary looking. M. was long haired, greasy and also very scary. YOU had been well described as a former 1SG (as a young soldier, that did m
Hugh and Hillary Rodham should have the right to marry each other? Ack! okay two human beings, over the age of 18, who are NOT related to each other should have the right to marry if they choose.
Okay, here is a non-religious point.... If it is justified for homosexuals to marry (based on civil rights/discrimination what have you) then the same reasoning must apply to anyone.
