If you have way too much time on your hands........ I would recommend getting acquainted with 3D studio Max (tho highly expensive -yikes-)... Adobe Photoshop 7.0 has some wonderful new things in it like the brushes (which by the way you can much more easily make your own now).. its also applying more vector-based tools within its programming (YAY!).. anyhoo... Illustrator is fun.. altho i don't use it for wallpapers really... maybe if theres a vector image I can't pull off in photoshop (rare)...
