Another number to put up there is that the 87 billion Kerry voted against, well only one billion has been spent so far and the IRS ran audits on it and they can't find out how it was spent. That right there is a wasted 87 billion dollars that could be used right now pay off the debt, or fund social security, or any other number of things.
