Ohoi there, Marky Mark. ;) Looking at the amount of 'legend user' replies to this thread, I somehow hope that Mike doesn't make an appearance because it'll make the internet explode from all the awesome. Don't keep on being a stranger, Mark. You're more missed than you'd ever think.
You can always skin for 7 snowy.
Nope, ain't never happening. I jumped ship when the Vista/Windows 7 bits were added to SKS. I had enough trouble navigating around it as it was with just XP.

I've heard otherwise directly from a repair/tech guy. If you drop your phone in water it is vital that it stays wet , otherwise the drying process will leave some kind of residue (can't remember which one he mentioned) which makes it impossible to rescue the device without replaceing hardware.
Snowman... maybe you can try to apply the wider startpanel substyle and see if that problem go away...
Ok..... I tried it, being confident that it would not do much difference. The startmenu has been fucked up on every Windows 8 skin I've tried, so far, but this time...... It looks like it all comes down

.exe files/installers have never been allowed in uploaded files. You never what kind of shit that gets installed, and no mod would ever 'sacrifice' his/her machine to test it. Only Rainlendar skin NEED to be unzipped into the skins folder. Rainlendar 2 skins does not, just pop the zipfile (.r2skin) in the skins folder.
