I've got a laptop with an ATI x1400 vid card, latest drivers and Vista SP1. I can see no difference between looking at the wall in Windows Live Gallery, Photoshop CS3 or having set the wall as my desktop background. Could be a major bug with NVIDIA drivers... :p

The thing that bugs me is that the Title Bar, Window Frames and Buttons do not get skinned. They have their own design. Stardock is all about skinning you desktop, so I have always wondered why they have forced their design for Impulse on us? I think it's functionality is great, but it makes me cringe when I start it up because it doesn't match all my other windows. I know you can skin it yourself, but this is rather missing the point. With ObjectDock Plus it's very easy to get rid of your Windows taskbar. You can setup multiple separate docks with whatever components you want. You can then disable the Windows taskbar. Where does Dreams stored the info for the wall? Is it an xml file somewhere? Would love to find a fix, as I have no stop using Dreams because of this.

been running 1680x1050 for the last four years on my laptops....couldn't go back to anything else...on a 15.4" screen it's perfect..anything higher makes it too difficult to read...for video/photo editing it's perfect for me :)

I've been running SP1 for nearly a month now on my Dell laptop. Haven't had any problems. Seems a little quicker in all areas and there is definitely a big improvement with copying or moving files, whether on a local disk or to a network disk. So far the experience has been all positive. Though, apart from the file copying/moving slowness, I didn't have a problem with Vista before SP1 :)

I've noticed that it isn't just the reboot that resets the settings for the Water Dream. When I go to the Dynamic wallpaper settings, the settings revert to the Sand background and default Tiling as soon as the settings windows opens.
