Recycle bin

I have installed ObjectDock for the first time and boy do I like it. I am running v.190, build 534 on Win XP Pro SP3.

I would like to remove the old recycle bin icon from my desktop. I know it has to be simple, but I just haven't figured it out.

Please help a newbe out!

Thanks!

when you right click on your desktop and select properties it's in there... I've only been Vista a few months and already forgot how to use XP....

there should be a tab that says desktop, and then a button inside that tab that says advanced, or something to that effect...

if you want the others, but don't want to use another app just to make the recycle go away...

create a blank (transparent) icon and use it for both empyt/full

Go to START > RUN

Type GPEDIT.MSC

Navagate to USER CONFIGURATION >ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES >Click on DESKTOP,

On the right hand pane find " Remove Recycle Bin icon on the desktop " , double left click on it to ENABLE it.

That is ofcourse if you use XP pro.
Note: If you cant delete ur recycle bin after that action, restart ur pc.

Would definitely recommend that method.
