Forums extremely slow

What is the deal anymore with the forums. I get on here usually every morning between 4 & 5 AM EST and after clicking on a forum topic I have to wait forever for it to open, if it opens at all. Lots of times I get errors rather than the subject opening up. I few times I waited just to see how long it would take for something to open up and I have sat here for over a minute and a half before it got pointless.

There are also some post...such as Halo_WB5 that doesn't open at all. I've tried several times to read this post and it just doesn't open.

I was under the impression there was some big move and new and/or additional servers were put in place to handle the load, but it doesn't seem to be working.

There are bottle necks that sometimes occur anywhere between the websites location and you. 

Can you give more information?  What type of internet connection do you have?  Do you try to hit refresh when this "wait" happens?

I would guess the time you are trying to logon is the same time the back-ups are running. I often have difficulty getting on during the morning UK time because of this.

I'm aware if the bottlenecks...but this is a site issue...particularly the forums...it doesn't happen to often anywhere else on the site. I'm on broadband, so things tend to load pretty quick.

It has only been within the last few weeks that this major slowdown has started happening. Before that I never had this problem. And I get on the site usually the same time every morning.
