All right, it's been a little while since I updated on my status, so here goes:
Operation Musical Car Swap is about to commence. My dad trades my Brother and Sister-in-Law his van for their truck and car. I sell my brother my car. I get my sister-in-law's car for NO cost. Dad uses truck to trade in for smaller vehicle. I pay only insurance on car (should be around 60 bucks a month, gotta call insurance company). Financial Woes are over!
As far as girl that lives far away goes, I'm not sure. I really don't care that much anymore. She just wants to be friends, whatever, I've pretty much given up on her. Only thing that saddens me slightly is that she is going to leave Dragonrealms most likely, and my character is going to be somewhat depressed. So why aren't I sad? That's slightly complicated... I created a female character in the game (boo me, I don't care), and she's a prydaen (cat person) moon mage (kinda like a seer). Now, I have this other friend that plays dragonrealms, who I met through that. So her character and my moon mage are wandering around, flirting with everyone, and each other. Suddenly, they both start to fall for each other! Whoops! Oh well, it was funny at first, and now they are slightly serious. Yes, homosexuals in a role-playing game, but it makes sense (it mirrors our world quite a bit). They are both prydaen (plus!) and moon mages (double-plus!). I really don't know why, but it's easier for me to role play her than my other characters, and she's just so happy with this other girl. Boo me, whatever, I don't care.
Yes, I've been playing entirely too much Dragonrealms lately, but it's currently my only true escape. It's fun to run around, telekintically throwing daggers and rat pelts at rats, watching them scamper away. The only other escape I've had is going out to the bar on Sunday, where the Professor and I got wasted. It was a blast, and that helped cheer me up A LOT. Yes, I know, alcohol bad, but I haven't drank in like three weeks, and it's not like I'm an alcoholic. I haven't had anything since, and I probably won't until my dad's birthday.
So, basically, I'm pretty much fine (I'd say around 98% happiness, and around 73% at work), and I'm not depressed anymore. I just wish these ghosties would leave me alone... On that note, tomorrow I'm going to do a quick run down on the history of my otherwordly encounters, which might explain some things about me. It'll be the far distant past ones I cover, and I'll see how well that goes, and do another one about the more recent ghosties.
I've put a link to the Dragonrealm's main page, for those of you who are interested in learning more about it, possibly even playing it. If you need any help, just ask, most people are more than willing to help. And if you see me in the game, as any of my three characters (Inflayme, my Elven Empath, Zilnith, my S'Kra Mur Paladin, and Kyyri, my Prydaen Moon Mage), wave, and then explain who you are.
Good night, sleep well, I'll update in the next few days.
