I didn't think they had many elections in the year 200.
If you're speaking about the 2000 election, I feel fine about it. While Gore won the "popular" vote, that's meaningless. The electoral college was designed to ensure that the President wouldn't be selected purely by the citizens of the largest cities. Bush won the election fair and square.
Given the events of 9/11, I am very thankful Bush won. I cannot help but think that Gore would have treated the event as an issue for law enforcement rather than a global war on terror.
