Why remove terror star???

Why???
I guess it's too late to ask for it to be included. Is it possible for someone to mod it in when the game is released? I was really looking forward to destroying a few planets. I guess i will have to find that pleasure elsewhere. What a bummer!

We just didn't have time to put it back in the game.  Terror stars may appear in an expansion pack.

If Terror Stars are eventually added, all I ask is that they can be disabled so that no one can build them--myself included. (I *really* hate superweapons!)

Personally, I think the Excalibur was MUCH more a superweapon than the terror star. More hit points than I can count, armor thicker than my skull, and speed which would rival me running from those high school bullies.

Terror stars were just there to wipe out planets that weren't worth taking in my opinion (though I love them just the same). By the time you destroyed all of an enemy empire's planets, you could have taken them over dozens of times over with less fuss.
