Adding New File Types and Program Types

The answer to this is probably very simple, but I can't find it. How does one add new file types and program types to Icon Packager?

Start IconPackager > click "Icons and Cursors" in the left-hand task list > click the "Files" button on top of main pane > click "Add Format" > use the Add File Format list to select and add a new format.

Program executibles are changed manually with their Properties dialog. Changing them in the "Program Files" directory will change globally.
