2. The number of American soldiers lost last year in Iraq was fewer than the number of Americans murdered last year in Los Angeles.

3. Iraq's 220,000 teachers are making 12 to 25 times the salary they did under Saddam Hussein.

4. Doctors' salaries are at least eight times higher than they were.

5. Power generation exceeds pre-war coverage nation wide.

6. More than twice the number of small shops and stores are operating now than when Sadam was in power.

7. Women move much more freely than when Sadam was in power.

First I'll preface by saying that it's WAY early to consider anything about iraq to be in good shape.  The general populace is still in shock, and still not convinced that the USA wont just leave and walk away.
1.  Crime rates are lower?  I suspect it's more like they dont have enough police to properly track it.
2. What was the murder count in Bagdad?
3. 12-25 times as much?  Doesnt sound like a very good distribution of new found wealth.  Talk about upsetting an economy.
4.  Glad to see we're spreading our mess of a health care system to other countries.
5.  Are they planning on getting the energy and water to the poeple?
